I still haven't got my voucher for yesterdays shop. Hope it's Tescos end, and nothing else.
Enter details. No voucher, press the back button, enter details again.
No voucher, do the same again. Repeat.
It worked for me. Thanks to whoever it was that posted that tip.
1 voucher took 5 goes then it was there, 2nd voucher took 3 goes and 3rd voucher took 4 goes. At least i got them all. :TRemember You're a Womble !! Keep Tesco Tidy. :beer:0 -

She said they don't care as it's all just increasing their takings. Vouchers or cash look the same when you're just looking at numbers.
That being the case, could you please find out from your relative why customers are getting the 3rd degree for using them then :cool:Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

Can someone explain how Tesco can trace the voucher trail?
If you pay by cash and don't use a CC,all they have is the trail left by that particular email addy don't they?
How can they compare it to previous email addresses?
Sorry if I'm missing the obvious here?
Let me explain how mine was picked up.
The supervisor had told HO that the receipt I showed them with my voucher had been oaid for with a coupon for £16 which I had confirmed to her was a DTD voucher.
When I confirmed my email to them to verify today's voucher - he knew from their record that a voucher for £16 hadn't been issued to the email address I used for todays vouchers. As far as I know that's the only way it was picked up - if everyone gets a voucher for £20 every time I think that they would be fine.0 -
now the price checker is saying my date is invalid. how can today be invalid?!?! agghh. lol.
monday it said i could imput a date from the future when it was from the same day. i think there is the boss of tesco, who is annoyed after reading this forum, personally writing responses to people when they attempt to imput their till reciepts...0 -
Evening all.
To bring this slightly back on track, Yesterday evening some people were looking at l'oreal eye cream stuff 15ml. quite a good dtd i beleive.
Did anyone go for that today?

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.0 -

I don't think they can - unless you recycle a voucher obtained on an earlier email addy to a new email addy (probably when you have gort near the £100 mnonthly limit). Then they could perhaps link the two addys if they put their minds to it.ELITE 5:2

They actually can't. Those that have been caught out have either been naive or greedy (as a whole). Either using a clubcard or taking items back and making themselves obvious - there are exceptions, of trouts being extra vigilant.
The case earlier was of a guy, who had been collared, I believe, because he had used a clubcard. Then when the store became suspicious it was easy to 'accuse him of abuse'.
Sadly they also noticed on his receipt that his previous voucher, had been used on a different email address. If all vouchers were £20 exactly, it would have been impossible to detect. However if they check an email address and you have a voucher for £18.88 but it isn't on your email - eyebrows will be raised.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
