They have stitched you up on the weight................this is happening on just about every bit of meat I buy now, they keep quoting the incorrect weight on the pricecheck, but obviously set it so that it only multiplies the ASDA price by that amount, hence making ASDA look far more expensive and destroying the DTD.

Should have added...........it either falsely makes ASDA look more expensive, or makes a comparison impossible, therefore returning a "n/a"............it's a Tesco stitch up.

    Well,

I've just had my very first Tescoism! :(
Went to my usual store, which have appeared to get their act together lately..... Gave the lady my voucher, and she said 'oh, there have been a lot of these about, I'll get it checked.' She called over the team leader, who went on to tell me that she wasn't sure about the voucher as it had no tear lines on it, but that they were going to ban people using vouchers on small shops as it wasn't in the spirit of the scheme, and that you'd have to buy a set amount of items!! When I asked how many items they were going to limit it to, she told me 'about £50 worth of shopping, a normal big shop'. (notice how 'set number of items rapidly changed to a set amount of money!) I tried explaining that I live local, so normally pop in for bits and bobs on the way home from work, so that would not be in the spirit of the scheme to install a minimum spend! She then called over the duty manager, who said he didn't know enough about the vouchers to tell if mine was real or fake, so he called over the CS lady, who went, 'oh, I know you, you can use it this once but it has to have perforations on it next time'. I went on to ask if I could use a voucher for my next transaction, as that's what T&C on the voucher state (the voucher was recieved on a different date), and she said 'no, that's wrong, it's one transaction a day' even though I showed it to her in black and white!!!
The actual checkout lady was lovely, but the rest were talking out of their backsides!
I don't usually complain, but I reckon an e-mail to Mr T might be in order.....

The list of Tesco excuses continues..................in a few weeks time, there'll be a panorama type programme on TV about all this and how Tesco launched this big campaign, only for them to then turn on their own customers, when it transpired that they weren't cheaper than ASDA at all.

Tesco's behaviour has frankly appalled me so far and I hope they get taken for £million's. When this deal is over, I shall conduct my shopping activities elsewhere.............a spectacular backfire for Tesco in every sense.
