Shame as these were my results, what a waste of a £16 voucher
    1 x TESCO WHOLE LEG OF LAMB (4.218 kg) £ 16.83 N/A

    Where was your lamb from?

I've bought one and the sticker says Ireland today, the others I've had confirmed have been from New Zealand.

Has anybody had lamb legs from Ireland confirmed?

    TIA
    A fairer CSA for all

Doesn't matter how you paid, fact remains that you did pay and they overcharged you. If they wanted to get really funny just fight back and get the difference on a gift card, I agree they should give you cash but sometimes you need to compromise.

I know it's not the same as cash but at least then you can put it towards some DTD stuff and you still win.

  • Well,

I've just had my very first Tescoism! :(
Went to my usual store, which have appeared to get their act together lately..... Gave the lady my voucher, and she said 'oh, there have been a lot of these about, I'll get it checked.' She called over the team leader, who went on to tell me that she wasn't sure about the voucher as it had no tear lines on it, but that they were going to ban people using vouchers on small shops as it wasn't in the spirit of the scheme, and that you'd have to buy a set amount of items!! When I asked how many items they were going to limit it to, she told me 'about £50 worth of shopping, a normal big shop'. (notice how 'set number of items rapidly changed to a set amount of money!) I tried explaining that I live local, so normally pop in for bits and bobs on the way home from work, so that would not be in the spirit of the scheme to install a minimum spend! She then called over the duty manager, who said he didn't know enough about the vouchers to tell if mine was real or fake, so he called over the CS lady, who went, 'oh, I know you, you can use it this once but it has to have perforations on it next time'. I went on to ask if I could use a voucher for my next transaction, as that's what T&C on the voucher state (the voucher was recieved on a different date), and she said 'no, that's wrong, it's one transaction a day' even though I showed it to her in black and white!!!
The actual checkout lady was lovely, but the rest were talking out of their backsides!
I don't usually complain, but I reckon an e-mail to Mr T might be in order.....
