Ok i printed off my voucher from my first shop and went to use it today....
The red wine cabernet sauv (is this the right one)? was in stock so i thought i would try that along with salmon and a couple of other items.
went to self service and the assistant couldnt get voucher to work so called a supervisor who siad to recall the transaction on a main till and do it that way.
All worked fine but it says recalled transaction on top of my till receipt as i didnt have to re scan my items on a new till. Would this affect my DTD?
Just inputted it so will await results....and report tomorrow.
Fingers crossed.0 -
Regardless of people saying that all the barcodes are the same on these vouchers, their system must be able to recognise a recycled DTD voucher and see the "trail" of its use, not just recognise an email address.
We are talking about a huge £multi billion corporate that already owns one of the most advanced CRM platforms in the world (Clubcard) and I simply do not believe that they don't know exactly what's happening with this DTD offer. If they don't, then whoever was responsible for implementing it should be sacked (and awarded a medal by moneysavingexpert).
nope cant track it..
person a goes to the checkout and gives £20 dtd voucher and gets a new receipt
person b goes to the checkout and gives £20 voucher and gets a new receipt.
in the office at night cashing up thers 2 dtd vouchers but no way to tell which voucher gave which new receipt..
therefore when the new receipts are entered into the link there relying on the same email being used to link...0 -

My filipo berio extra virgin was N/A - first dtd shop yesterday and i bought at £6.48!!!
Don't worry, live and learn, and carry on. I had an N/A on my first shop, very offputting.... but it really is worth carrying on!Slightly worried here as had 2/4 vouchers and the 2 I am awaiting are for the same email address! I know I am not over the limit BUT the stories I have seen here I am worried!!!
Hope they come throughnot sure if this has been added to the s/s, cant see it at work. but had this confirmed today
1 x ROBINSONS SELECT APPLE & BL/BERRY 850ML T £ 1.59 A £ 1.00
hope it helps someone, nice squash!
Nice squash, but not showing on A's site today? The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
It's the weight bit that makes me laugh........it's because you're eating like a medieval king every night now, lol!!!
Like I said, it's a personal thing and far be it from me to judge anybody, but I just think that if people were more sensible, this is the type of promotion that could last for yonks, but will inevitably get pulled, when they see that the minority are milking them for £hundreds a week.
I agree in principle, but it's just not the way the world works. Unless everybody agrees to hold back, which will never happen, these things become a feeding frenzy and you just have to make hay while the sun shines.0 -
wishuponastar - recalled transaction on the receipt shouldn't make a difference. A number of us (me included) have had those and been fine. hth0
