    Back from Mr T's...
The supervisor 'TROUT' that I had yesterday was not there today! Woo!
Another supervisor came over as the SA had been told yesterday by the trout to always call for team leader when they get a DTD so we can be marched over to CS. The supervisor came over and said that there was no reason to be marched over to CS as they didn't do anything differently there. FINALLY, someone that makes sense at Mr T's!!

Anyway, did 3 shops.. got the 1L smirnoff (a very good buy, should be useful for cocktails in summer), got the beef (or dare I say that here lol.. made sure the 1st bit of barcode matched up), then the usual dishwasher tabs etc...

I have about 6 years supply of dishwasher tabs now!!

Will report back with confirmations etc when vouchers arrive
  • argh please help:eek:

    HA ha
just had a funny one in my local

Supervisor wasnt called but at the end of the till with 3 other staff - she looked at the sa who was serving me and saw the price check voucher and then said "That's the first one today!" :rotfl:"I expect they'll all come in now!";)

Completely different to the other trouty horrid experience of being marched to cs desk!
x There is hope out there! x

Yes that's fair enough but if one person is doing 5 shops and using 5 email addresses, in Tesco's eyes it could be 5 separate people.

    How are they to know?

It's all about being savvy and staying ahead of the game.

Regardless of people saying that all the barcodes are the same on these vouchers, their system must be able to recognise a recycled DTD voucher and see the "trail" of its use, not just recognise an email address.

We are talking about a huge £multi billion corporate that already owns one of the most advanced CRM platforms in the world (Clubcard) and I simply do not believe that they don't know exactly what's happening with this DTD offer. If they don't, then whoever was responsible for implementing it should be sacked (and awarded a medal by moneysavingexpert).
  • Can someone please confirm, if i see a tescos finest pizza, what item in asds would i compare this to?? as i dont quite get it the whole tescos own brand bit? Thanks

Lincolnshire Large chicken (2.00-3.50kg) mine was 2.01kg £6.43 £4.82 DTD £3.21 confirmed today

DTD vouchers accepted no probs at Northampton town centre Metro store today. My heart was pounding as I handed it over think I was expecting a nastySA!But no probs.Only hitch-self service would only accept £2.00 so dtr had to have help inputting £20 voucher-nothing was said tho.

Seen some on here say Tesco's wouldn't accept it because it was black and white..............but has been ok for others

So stupid of stores that discriminate against printers on the basis of colour. Racists!

Seriously, though, black printouts are fine.
