Asda disabled parking - received ticket...

Ok, let me start by saying that what i did, would appear to 'have been the wrong thing to do' - but i'm still asking your advice...
Parked in a disabled space in Asda car park, i very rarely do but this time i was in a rush and knew i wouldnt be long - not that i'm trying to condone parking where i did!
Came out, and - yes, got a ticket: 90 quid in 28 days 55 in 14 blah blah...
Do i have to pay? I remember reading something about disabled spaces on private land not being worth the paper they're written on ( or the tarmac they're painted on).
Any info greatly appreciated.

First of all slapped wrist ! naughty ! please dont do it again no matter how much of a rush you are in
Do you have to pay = NO ignore the blasted invoice. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
No, you can safely ignore. The Blue Badge scheme doesn't even operate on private land, so it's just a made up rule by the company. It's no more binding than a 'fine' for any other 'offence'; parking in a parent and child bay, parking over the white line, overstaying the time, blah blah. It's probably the one that will most rattle people's moral sensitivities but, even so, ignore the charge, and all subsequent communication."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Please don't park in these bays if you have no need to do so, as mentioned above ! So lecture over
Parking bays in private parking car parks are advisory only, there is no basis in law so there is no reason to think that they can give you a penalty for parking there, which company is it by the way?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

So you knew you were wrong, you have done this before and yet still did it?
Let's hope you or someone close to you never ends up disabled and can't get parked in a disabled bay, because some inconsiderate !!!!!! was in a rush!0 -
Fergie...you've obviously got some issues that you need to work out.
OP....you did nothing illegal.
Ignore all correspondence [except a court issued N1] from the PPC....oh and the same applies to all correspondence from FergieHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

So you condone parking (when you are not disabled) in disable spaces, whether they have any legal standing or not?0 -

As I said.....issues....need to work on them.
I think there are some quite good tablets on the market at the moment, ask your doctor about them.
Good luck.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0
