Car Warranty Question

It amuses me as to why everyone is banging on about the cost of the car!! Not 1 person has actually answered the questions I asked - can I cancel the warranty and insurance. If you couldn't give a simple yes or no answer to that then you shouldn't have replied to my post.
Anyway the warranty is now cancelled, £500 has come off the finance agreement and we've got an extra £20 petrol as an apology for the "misunderstanding" where we were told we were getting 2 years warranty for free then charged £500 for it.
Take care
So why couldnt you have told us the figures at the start. Cos it would have been so much easier to sort out for us all.
Some garages will say they are throwing in a 2 year deal, but they adjust the Px price to reflect this etc.

No sprio.. I haven't paid what it was advertised for....i have paid £5091. Original price £6291 minus £700 (part ex) minus £500 (deposit) = £5091. Thats the cost of the car. Over and above that he's added on a 2 year warranty which he initially told us was FREE and added on a monthly insurance to our monthly payment that was NEVER offered/disclosed/asked permission for.
Again my issue isn't the cost I paid for the car but the fact he told us we were getting free warranty then charged us for it....can we cancel the warranty? And the insurance added on without our permission?
So, is the deal now £6790, including the warranty? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Are you now paying more than the price you agreed with the salesman? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
If you have said the £6295 included £500 for the warranty in the 1st place your post would have been answered in aboiut the 1st response or 2. The salesman may well say he's including 'free' warranty but typically the garage buys the warranty from a 3rd party which is why an amount of money is show as the warranty cost on the invoice. I just hope for your sake that nothings going wrong as you have opted not to take a warranty.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
