my son currently has a false whiplash claim against him from a tap he did to the back of a vehicle in standstill traffic, the person is now claiming soft tissue damage & wasnt even reasonable with him at the scene. It makes my blood boil as no damage has been done to any of the vehicles currently going through inspection from our ins company. Its just unfortunate he did not tap/nudge somebody who like himself wouldn't have took it any further. We now are going through an unnecessary worrying time just because somebodys after a payout :mad:0

ERM, how are the police going to get involved if the other driver quite obviously did not get the OP's VRM?PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0

You don't know for certain that they didn't.
its a pretty safe bet unless the other driver had a rear facing camera or eyes in the back of his head or the ability to read a VRM through his mirror(s) while driving.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0 -

How do you know it is false? Have you had an independent medical assessment carried out?The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
