    Hi rovers :)

I've added you straight onto the thread that Nile pointed out, so all you have to do is read from the beginning to catch up.

    Good luck :)

  • My 10 year old is about to have her birthday party (Film premier eveing so they all get to dress up beautifully!). I am planning to borrow a chocolate fountain and need to buy chocolate. Most of the on-line suppliers seem to have a substantial delivery fee.
What experience have people had with using supermarket chocolate?

What is the best place to buy it on-line if its really better to use "special" chocolate fountain chocolate.
Do any high stret retailer stock special chocolate fountain chocolate?
I have searched the site so forgive me if this subject has been coverd in detail elsewhere!

    Thanks foryou help and advice

  • `Thanks for moving my post
Does anyone have any experience of on-line ordering in the last couple of months?
Do any of the retailers on the high street sell the big bags of fondue chocolate at the moment?
  • Chocolate fountain crisis! We tried to use it for the first time on Christmas eve and didn't put any oil in (couldn't find the instructions amid all the festivities) So it melted and went up inside but never cascaded :-(
Anyway we enjoyed it like a chocolate fondue but now it is ALL HARD and I can't figure out how to get the fountain bit off the bottom. It's a tesco fountain - does anyone have any tips??? Gratefully received

Hello, I am after help too! I bought a Baileys mini chocolate fountain on half price from Boots but I hate Baileys (only wanted the fountain!). The instructions say to use chocolate, cream and one mini baileys. When leaving out the Baileys do I still add cream, or do I use the normal chocolate and veg oil combo? Unfortunately the instructions are very short and give no alternatives. I have emailed Baileys for advise but I'm panicking that they won't get back to me in time for me to use it on New Years Eve!

    Hi,

I have 3 smallish tubs of chocolate that last night was melted with a little vegetable oil for my chocolate fountain. Theres probably about 600-700g of chocolate altogether. It has set solid in the fridge again.

Any suggestions as to what i can do with it? Seems a shame to waste it.

I would like to buy the actual chocolate fountain machine (preferably under £20). Can anyone recommend a good one please?
