Morning All
Not sure what the plan of action is here today but DD has a friend sleeping over tonight so I've got to pick her up at 3.30. Other than that I need to do the bathroom and probably some more bits downstairs. I really ought to make a start on the ironing mountain as well at some point.
Froddy - have a lovely holiday.
SSL - good luck - I'm sure you'll wow them!
Have a good day all

Dusty Loved that story - not heard of the daffodil principle before. Thank you
Right, I feel motivated to "daffodil" round my flying - instead of thinking it is all too much and not bothering to start.
Thanks folks, SilverOutside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

Wow. Must get more work. Bounced out of bed with DH this morning (0645 normally about 0830) and immediately started flying. Bathrooms looking better already. DW on, WM filled.
Think I've just proved that having too much time on your hands leads to CBA procrastination. Limit the time and you focus. HHC at 0800 anyone?GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
Hello again everyone.....:o Sorry I have not been about much. I am really lacking in motivation and energy but really need to get my house sorted out as it is making me miserable. I have just been told by my doc that she thinks it is highly probable I have postnatal depression. So.....I will be aiming for level one each day for the moment. Problem is I have so much clutter that even level one tasks seem to take hours, this is as well as looking after three under fours. Any advice really would be welcome as I cannot seem to stick at anything at the moment
I have read the first pages and the welcome message from when I joined before.
Try AnW's mum's dot to dot principle. Start with just one small job - eg clearing a top in the kitchen. don't be afraid to be ruthless. Once you've done it you can keep on top of it and the following day set yourself another small task.
Sorry to hear about your post natal depression - but I had 3 kids in 3 years and I have so much enjoyed having them around - they're not perfect but at 20,19 and 17 they still bring me joy, if a few grey hairs.
Most of all don't beat yourself up over it - I remember the first time I was left alone with my three after OH went back to work - I thought I'd never cope (all 3 were c. sections) but I did - eventually.
and most of all keep posting - we're a very friendly bunch here..:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

DS's Mcdonalds uniform is in the washing machine and the workmen outside are in full swing! They are replacing the gas pipes down the road which means that there is a hole in the pavement every 2 feet or so! Not very pedestrian friendly....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
