It's that sort of brain dead attitude is responsible for so much of what's wrong in the world today.

Maybe there isn't so much wrong and some just like to moan about everything and think that everythings wrong?

Because their surname is none of your business?
Tesco is a company. It doesn't have a surname. rolleyes.gif

You certainly seem to have been doing a lot of moaning in this thread.

Unless, as in your case, you become obsessed. You've made fourteen posts in this thread. What is your problem?

One of the things that is deemed to be 'proof' of purchase is where the good is an own brand item as it seems it was in this case. :)

Also, I think what was being referred to as 'brain dead' was the fact that only 37p was involved rather than the actual technicalities of the case.

BRB off to buy a Technica tv then return it for a refund with my proof of purchase.

You should have no problem if there is something wrong with it. ;)

This is untrue as the item could have been stolen. Just because it's got a Tesco label doesn't mean it was purchased.

One requires an educated brain to undestand the reason for these policies and also the law is because theft is frequent, more frequent than the "it says tesco so i'm(he/she is) bound to have bought it" bunch may think. Many but not all have a brain like this ;)

I'm with you OP - it is the principle of it being faulty regardless of the cost which also winds me up. I had a similar experience at B&Q with a B&Q branded product which I posted about, and which several of the posters here also had a go at me about. Don't take it personally, not everyone on this forum is friendly :)

Yeah but they are, it's just that like Sir Alex ("I've mellowed") Ferguson they might not realise it until later ;)
