OP...I normally provide contact email addresses of CEOs so that people can escalate their complaints to. However, due to the nature of your rudeness as detailed in your OP, I will give it a miss this time.
I swear something invisible must have hit me really hard on the head because for the first time ever I have actually pressed the thanks button below one of Sirmarcus's posts!!0 -

I have noticed a certain obsession the op has got and am wondering if the op might be called Mrs Richards? :rotfl:0

¿Que?Alas no it is I, LeClerc - our bags are also blue but no ladybirds. Vive La France!
Mrs. Richards: K?
Manuel: Si.
Mrs. Richards: C?
Manuel: No. Que, "what."
Mrs. Richards: K. Watt?
Manuel: Si: que, "what."
Mrs. Richards: C. K. Watt? Is he the manager?
Manuel: Ah! Manajer! Mr. Fawlty.
Mrs. Richards: This man is telling me the manager is a C. K. Watt, aged forty.
Manuel: No, Fawlty.
Mrs. Richards: Faulty? Why? What's wrong with him?
Mrs Richards: I shall expect a reduction.0 -
I have a rule that I will return anthing faulty over three quid.I do have a certain sympathy for you though.I think the mistake you made was thinking that you were going to get an exchange automatically.I also think you were very brave, nay, foolhardy to challenge the Tesco dragons.Tescos sullen so-called customer service dept. has occasionaly nearly had me crying with laughter at times.I personally will have no truck with the " no-one else has complained" response.Anyway,I think I have seen you on crimewatch-the serial carrier bag returner...0

OP, i agree, i think you should get out more. Maybe Sainsburys ?0

We have three Tesco stores near us, and they vary a lot in terms of general friendliness and customer service. One of them was fantastic when my rear windscreen shattered in their carpark, and even contacted me later to make sure I'd got home ok! While another is the most miserable place you could ever wish to shop and I avoid going there.
The OP arguably made mistakes, but the difference between attitudes in store is a point well made.0 -

Maybe the difference in attitudes between the stores was down to a different attitude from the OP.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
