I replied with "I work for a wheel refurbishing company so it doesnt matter - when can I collect, thanks.."

    What happened next?

I had a similar one a few weeks ago. The seller contacted me straight away to say the item had been damaged, she wouldn't sell it and if I'd paid, she would refund me. I said it didn't matter about the damage. She then replied that the person who damaged it had "reimbursed" her and taken it away at the weekend. That seemed like b******s as she had edited the listing at 17:45 on the Sunday and didn't mention it... I contacted her again but didn't get a reply.

I was thinking of giving her -ve feedback but would "non performing seller" be over the top?
  • I've left a few negs recently for sellers who refuse to sell me stuff for 99p."

I hope you did this with 100% certainty - I sold a 99p item which never arrived. I refunded immediately and was left a neutral saying that 'item went for 99p - obviously didn't want to sell at that price'. Luckily they revised it when I sent them a copy of the Cert of Posting.
