Hi everyone

Hope you had a great time Helen.

Yes there is definitely something in the air today. I came back from taking the kids to football and decided I was sick of the house being like a pigsty. I am going to have a busy week this week so I dont want to start it with a massive list of jobs to do.

So I have:
Dusted, hoovered and tidied DS's bedroom and our bedroom
Hoovered the landing and stairs
Hoovered and mopped the bathroom, kitchen, utility room and downstairs loo
Done 3 loads of washing, last one in td now. Done a pile of ironing, just needs putting away
Emptied dishwasher, cleared the draining board and tidied worktops.
All of which has taken me 5 hours!

I now need to check my finances and see how much petrol I can afford to put in the car tomorrow.

Oh and I made hm chicken nuggets and chips for dinner. I was so busy tidying I kind of left the chicken nuggets in the oven for too long. They were like bullets. Bless my lovely family they ate them all and no-one said a word!

Evening all - where did the weekend go!!!! Today I managed to get the laundry done so OH can iron tomorrow (he can do this sitting down so no strain on his leg).
Made bread and rolls for weeks lunches for DD & I. :T

Shelp up and stuff put on, DD also silicone sealed around sink for me.
Cookery books now more organised too.

Feeling a bit down as I did the online test for DWP jobs and did really badly on the management questions - ironically I did above average on the numerical reasoning (I hate maths) so what's that all about. Never mind job hunting will continue.....

Plucking up courage to move the kitten - new cage is ready, just need to get hold of it. Put a box in current quarters with a blanket, hoping it would go in and I could just close the door and move him/her. So such luck...:( Quick cuppa then off to find gauntlets, armour etc....

I...opened my garage today. Then I closed it again. However, I managed to remove a rusty biscuit tin containing the drum brackets for the washing machine I replaced a year ago, and two items (a sink and an electronic toy) for Ebay...start at 1p and see if anyone will have them.

At this rate, I should be able to get the car in by....ooh...2025:rotfl:

Hey All

Well my cleaning stamina seems to have finally run out. I am yawning my head off, and unless I can find something on tv to keep me entertained I guess I am off to bed.

Today I have:-

Cleaned the bathroom, including steam cleaning all the tiles and grouting (done at silly O clock this morning)

Seven loads of washing, including our bedclothes and DS's bedclothes

3 x TD loads (including the bedding which is now back on the beds).

Cleaned round the kitchen, mopped floor, done recycling etc

Tidied, dusted and hoovered the living room

Tidied, dusted and hoovered DSs room

Somewhere in between all this I have cooked a Sunday breakfast and a Sunday dinner (roast Pork), and have done a bag of shredding.

I am hoping Karma has gone my way. as I found some loan docs which I thought were destroyed and now we might be able to reclaim some money which we shouldn't have had to pay out in the first place.

I have spent a bit of time on the MSE money threads finding out about this as well, and I am sending off what I need to tomm.

All in all, its been one of my most productive days. And now.... BED! Night all xxx

Moving the kitten was much more straightforward that I had forseen. Both DD and I survived intact with and s/he is now in the new pen in the living room to become accustomed to people.

Actually found some jobs that I can apply for (sadly all either part-time, or fixed term or both) but job situation is like that in this area.:(

Just put DW on, and DD has promised to tidy up the DIY tools etc. before she goes to bed.

I think the only outstanding task I have is snake feeding and I will do that mid week when I have time to sort out their dinners.

I have ..... done nothing. Not sure where the day went, although I was out this morning, and for an hour this evening. Just watched the midwife programme on tv, and that's been about it. Oh, and put some clothes in the WM for tomorrow. Really must do a bit more tomorrow.

Good Evening

A lovely day here! I got a heap of laundry done and my OH took me shopping and treated me to a lovely wicker basked to store all my yarn in, so there is no longer yarn everywhere!

When I got home I went for a wee disco nap and when I got up my OH had tidied the living room, what a sweetie. I have ironed my clothes for the week and I am just about to go and face the mountain of paperwork I have to get through.

Well, I started tidying the bedroom AKA tip!! You can see a bit more of the floor now but you cant see my bed as it is full of carp!!

I WILL sort out said carp and put it where it belongs before I go to bed...well I couldnt get into it now anyway!

Wish me luck as its going to be a long night I think!!
