Hope you get a good night's rest Helen, you certainly deserve it!

Hi Frugal, yes it is wine o'clock, the sun is most definitely over the yardarm and besides in my book if it's a non-work day wine o'clock is whenever you're ready for it! I can't take alcofrolic drinks much these days but I am partial to sipping on a G&T or even a dry sherry.

All the dry shopping is still in piles in my living room (along with assorted clobber STILL not sorted from the summer kitchen rennovations - I knew it would still be there at Christmas!) so I will now embark on something I rarely do... a plan of action!

    Tomorrow I need to...

Do three loads of washing (minimum)
Bake two loaves of bread in BM
Clean out covered cat litter tray
    Do a bit of ironing
    Put away shopping

Other mess will have to wait - this year I have a week off before Christmas so will do a blitz then. My poorly relative is likely to still be in hospital but we hope he will be moved back up to where we are and it'll be much easier to visit.

I agree that no matter how hard I try and tidy it just seems to stay messy or get messier! Tonight I am going to continue with the never ending laundry and try to get a bit done in the bedroom.

hello all. Normal service resumed today then!:) House is getting really bad again, no dishes clean, rubbish mounting.... just feel wiped out and it's only a stupid cold! Slept till 4 today - and have no real plans to do anything tonight either!:D

Good luck with the plans of action, as soon as I'm feeling brighter I'll be doing the same!:)

I'm with you Frugal Rummer and Cat, it's the law, I have a cold so I'm allowed to do nothing! Cat, 'tis only a "plan" you understand... I will do the washing but everything else will probably go to hades in a wooden wheelbarrow!
