Mrs J is a head teasher so was home decluttering her house, she asked if I wnted her spare overlocker and 5 carry bags of fabric as she knows I love sewing, OH is picking it up later for me
Hope all is well and easy for you Natliecan't wait to see little messie

Good luck Nat
Today I've done two bowls of washing up, three loads of washing all on the line outside, and tried unsuccessfully to clean soot stains off the carpet. Not too bothered as it's on our list of things to replace but I'm so embarrassed when people come in here and see the cruddy carpet
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
Fingers crossed for a safe delivery. I took the supposedly non-removable cover off my memory foam mattress (for the second time) today and washed it. It washed really well, admittedly it wasn't that grubby but there were still a few marks.
I also fitted new bedding - having arthritis turning over in bed is really awkward at times and I finally tracked down some satin bedding. In Primark and a lovely champagne colour too. Apparently Poundstretcher have satin sheets in pink/black leopardskin print.
I got told about those over on the Ouch Too disability forum. I hope I managed to put over that it wouldn't perhaps be my first choice of decor without offending the poster...Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Best of luck, Natlie!import this0

Morning messies
I have a few hours today with no kiddies and no DH - wonder what I'll do???
I MUST do some ironing as its all on the DR table and we are running out of clothes
Nat - hope all is well with you
Hart - looking forward to seeing your new makes on your blog [from all the lovely material you were gifted - lucky lady] I'd love to have a go at making a quilt but the expense of getting the material puts me off.
Off to wake the kiddies so I can take them to their Dads
See you all later

Morning Messies!
Good luck Natalie. May your little messy arrive with no fuss and happy to crack on with chores!Only joking about the chores bit.
Went on a trip to Harewood House yesterday with childrens centre, stressful departure OH got right up my nose!! Had a lovely day weather glorious. Then I lost my purse:mad: It was a small radley coin purse I had bought by my SIL for my 40th it had about £10 in it. I then noticed my Thomas Sabo charm bracelet(my birthday present from various people) the starfish charm from my DS had dropped . off. I hate lobster clasps, that's 3 this week only found 1. I am really upset. It's raining here. I'm hoping to make bread in my new BM (the £4 bargain from car boot) and keep the children entertained
in this extremely cluttered and messy LR. Hey ho. Have a good one messies!0 -
Good luck Natlie, how exciting!0

ExT - have a hug - its very annoying and upsetting when you misplace things - hope you have a good day and as for DH - kick him up the bum lol
Must get on with things but feeling lazy, hopefully when the kiddies go I'll be more motivated
Just ordered from Very flannelette sheets on BOGOF and with free delivery to a local pick up point so 2 fitted double sheets for the Winter for £5.10 - bargain [not my find - borrowed from someone who's name I can't fully remember on the Winter thread]

Have just done the weekly wash (2 loads - one dark and 1 lights). Also scrubbed down the kitchen, strained my ham stock through muslin, wiped down the cupboards and the wall behind the bin. Took out the compost tin (2 weeks old... oops) and am currently descaling the kettle, and 2 big aluminium saucepans.
PS - erm - I've spelt aluminium correctly! I'm NOT American... stop underlining it red Mr US. English Software (Bill Gates... Grrrrrrr)0
