my employer has today made me redundant, gave me my week in lieu and acrued holiday pay. he is also told me to sign on and will give me a letter of redundancy to show dhss
he wants me to work ad-hoc for him for the next 6 weeks and he will pay me out of my redundancy and give me the remainder at the end of business 9th June
am i right in thinking that as soon as he gives me my letter of redundancy which will state termination of employment date that i can leave?
i am NOT going to sign on whilst still working there! but if his letter proves that end of contract then i will be leaving and will tell him so and tell him i want my redundancy immediately
i think he has cocked up

You have started another thread about this redundancy (or is it that you have been laid off?).
In that you say you are entitled to 12 weeks notice but you are "not bothered" about the notice. You want to sign-on but why should you be able to claim JSA when you should be paid by your employer?0
