B&Q is going to be running 3 for 2 on all paint and wallpaper, mix and match, so you can have 1 crown, 1 dulux and like a woodstain, etc.

i do belive that over the easter weekend there will be a sale where you spend £x amount and recive a discount, i think maybe 15% this time as they have just had a 20% off and then a 10% discount card.

Its amazing what you find in Home bargains. i bought loads of little and medium paintbrushes for 39p each. Paint trays etc. All for a fraction of what pay elsewhere.

I also agree, wickes is cheaper than b and q. My OH is currently making his own trellis as loads cheaper and much better quality.
Have you looked on ebay for fencing? I been looking at that sort of stuff and theres quite a lot of reasonably priced new and second hand about.

    good luck!

Is the house a terraced house or a semi with access down the side?

If you are going to re-plaster then I would do the lot in one go as plaster dust gets everywhere, also check your ceilings to see if they need to be done.

The garden should be the last thing to worry about unless you live in a terraced property and everything has to be dragged in or out through the house.

    Good luck with your project.

Take a look on Gumtree for a cooker. I have seen ones that are only months od being sold very cheaply.
