    I've seen it to (though cant think where at present but may have been an Esso. Either way, on the side of the pump was a sticker with someone pulling the hose over the roof crossed out.

    I've been given dirty looks before when I've effectively queuejumped past people. I've pulled into filling stations- our local Tesco is terrible for it- and there'll be 3-4 cars waiting, and the same amount of pumps free! If they're still like that in a couple of mins, I'll just pull past them and use a free pump.

    I have difficulty using a pump if i have to drag it over the roof, as it puts too much pressure on my wrists and after a few litres my wrists are in agony. So I have to queue for an available pump on the same side as my car.

    i dont have an issue with people waiting for a pump thats on the same side as your car, the issue i had was when people dont pull up behind the car thats using the last pump but instead they will just stop a distance from the pumps which is just pointless
