Woolworths Online

  • The money doesnt get taken from your account until the item is despatched. If you include a telephone number in your contact details you will recieve either a text or an automated phone call when the item arrives.

You dont need the confirmation of arrival in store to pick up the order, just confirmation of the order and some id. Youll be asked to confirm your details.

Phone the store to check if the item has arrived, they will ask you to confirm details over the phone and let you know if its come in, your order status online should read the item has been dispatched and is on its way to the store, and if that doesnt change in a couple of days, the amount of time it would take to get through the postal system then give the store a ring.

Occassionally items dont confirm correctly and the text/email isnt triggered thats the only real problem our store has had, and at first fragile goods werent packed that well and would be damaged sometimes, they have changed that i think now tho.

    Hope this helps.

I had a problem with woolworths too - only delivered one item not tow, and the one was damaged. I got a refudn but I still have the damaged item as they haven;t arranged to pick it up. I'm not chasing them so it's in my cupboard.

    Wouldn't use them again

...ordered a Barbie Party Bus & Barbie & Tanner doll to be delivered to store, when they were 25% off & I used a code from here for an extra 10% off.

Got sent an e-mail confirming order, & then a week later got an e-mail to tell me the Party Bus order had been cancelled due to no stock. I e-mailed customer services & was wasting my time. Anyway, then saw it was actually in stock on their system (funnily enough when it'd gone back up to full price), so rang order line & was told if I went into a store, the manager could order it for me at the discounted price. Went into store, manager said he couldn't do it.

Wrote letter to Chief Exec & in meantime got sent £10 voucher from another dept who apologised for the mix up. Then got sent another £20 in vouchers as a result of my letter.

The doll part of the order was showing ready to despatch for a few weeks on my order page, so I rang up a few days ago to chase this & was told it had been despatched on 15th Nov, so they'd have to refund me. I pointed out it was in stock on their system, so they said they'd send another one. Checked the next day, I had no active orders & they'd refunded it! Was only saving about £4 on that one so couldn't be bothered to waste my time complaining. But the Party Bus was meant to be about £17 cheaper than full price.

The customer service was absolutely no service at all. I will definitely be shopping elsewhere (after I've spent their vouchers!!!)

I wrote to this address. I also included the details of the store manager who wouldn't give me the item at the price I had been quoted, & did screen prints from their website to show that the item they had cancelled in my order was being advertised as being in stock at full price.

They took about a week to reply - good luck!

I just got a letter this morning with a £10 voucher (don't have a woolies nearby but there you go). Seemed like a standard letter that they are sending out to anyone who has had part of their order cancelled after being processed as I still haven't complained yet and I still haven't got a refund for the dress but that is my fault.
  • i eventually got my order sorted after a very long day spent causing alot of hassle, i went in to the store as was told they didn't have my order and i would have to phone a number, which i did and found out they had sent my order to another woolworths 50 miles away and if i wanted my order i would have to pick it up from there, as they couldn't do anything about the mix up and it was my problem, well seeing as i wasn't getting anywhere with the woman on the phone i hung up and phoned the number again to speak to someone different, this time i was told that i had already recived my order and my order was showing as finished, at this point i gota little bit angery to say the least and demanded to speak to a manager, so i was put on hold for 20 mins before anyone was willing to speak to me with did nothing for my temper, but this time i was told there was a mix up with my order and it had been dispactched twice one to the woolies miles away and one to my local store but it was two packages under two totaly different names but i had been asured they had spoken to the store and they were aware i was coming in to pick up my order .
so i went in to pick up my order only to find out no one knew i was coming in, but this time i spoke to the manager and found out my order was delvered on the 1st of nov under my own name and has just been sat there, so i was allowed to collect it.
about an hour after i got home i had a phone call from the other woolworths letting me know that hey have had my order since 31 st oct and when was i going to pick it up, i explained i already had my order and that this was not mine and left it up to them to sort it out i hae had enough for one day.

i am going to write and complain about this as most of the people i have spoken to today have been very rude and unhelpful but i will make sre i let them know in my letter that there was two people being very helpful.
