My mother taught me very early NEVER sit on a public toilet seat!

Yikes! Think hot, sweaty bodies, skin cell deposits (and a lot worse) - gets onto your body, then onto your clothes, then into your car, then travels back to your home. Yuk, yuk, yuk.

You probably get these on your body every day anyway. Better not go out...

    Alternatively, try showering.

I hate mens public toilets that don't have seats that stay up, so that anyone using it for a number 1 standing up has to aim through the seat, increasing the chances of covering it with Chateau Neuf de !!!!e. And no ones going to do one sitting down, cos the seats been peed on.

True I would stay away from all public handles and rails, and I most certainly wouldn't touch those buttons on the cash machine.

We bought that toilet seat last year (it was the cheapest in Argos at the time - wonder if that's why Nando's have it?). Living in a house with four males (aged 5 to 42), I very quickly learnt that spills were camouflaged, and to wipe the seat before sitting down.

I might just be well trained for a male, but I always lift the seat when needed and always drop it back down when finished.

Not as bad as the male toilet at a local bar.

And no I hadn't used it! :rotfl:

neither had anyone else by the look of the floor LOL:eek:
  • To be honest i was expecting a lot worse. You want to see a toilet I once refused to use in Belgium. Can't even begin to explain how filthy it was. For obvious reasons I didn't think to take a picture.
