He's driving it today, too. I have bought it now, but I think he'll still be in trouble if he's stopped. Damn, that's the second time I've mucked up the car tax

Just got back from the dentist and I have to go back at 2.30pm to have the tooth out so I am grabbing something to eat now cos I don't think I will want anything to eat tonight.
Turns out it is the root exposed because of the gum disease so the only option is to pull it.

Hello - anyone remember me? Time for one of my rather infrequent visits to the Daily Thread.
:eek::eek: What you up to now, Jackieg? Honestly, I disappear for a bit, and there you are welding the moggy!:rotfl:jackieglasgow wrote: »Car came back from the garage sounding healthy yesterday. It has cost almost £600 in the last four weeks  I am concerned the cat is slightly noisy but the OH thinks I am imagining it. I will take it somewhere next week and get it checked in case it can be welded before it becomes a serious problem, otherwise that part of the exhaust will be £200
Sorry I don't post much - seem to spend all my time on housework; unfortunately, everything is still taking an age to do, and the doctors say they can't do anything to help the bonecrushing fatigue.
Have had my morphine dose increased though, so that's a help.
Anyways, the loo won't clean itself, and that's the next job on the agenda, so I'd better go and get busy with the brush.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
OMG the police have just been round, next door have had an attempted break in, so I went round n their patio door and shed window are smashed:eek::eek:They can't go in to see what's been taken as it's a crime scene now:eek::eek:Have got my dogs patrolling my garden as we speak, and it is supposed to be a nice area!!!!:mad:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Afternoon
Have not posted for a few days as this bug thing has really gotten to me.
Today the sun has been shinning but I haven't the energy to hang the washing out. I can barley get the energy together to feed the kids
thankfully they are old enought to scrounge around the fridge for something.
OH was working late last night and tonight. No idea what's for dinner, freezer is full but I haven't taken anything out.
I am a bit down about my job as well, they are playing silly !!!!!!s with me and I cant stop thinking about it (think that has more to do with me being down rather than the bug). Still today I did do one thing and that was apply for another job so we will see what happens.
Strange thing is I don't actually mind my job, the pay is good and it fits arounds the kids school so I don't need much childcare. I could jack it in tomorrow and we wouldn't struggle too much but my salary pays for all the luxury things we have and do and while I keep telling myself that you don't need luxury things I'm sure as hell I would miss them.
Well not sure why I posted this but it makes me feel a bit better getting it all out.
Off out to visit my Granny for an hour then hopefully I will have perked up a bit and might get on with some things.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

LW hi there. Know what you mean about housework taking it out of you. Doing Chocolate Pecan Tart last night has left me drained. DH was sulking because I'd made the one for his colleague and not his.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

It's my job really though, he is working 14 hour days, so fair's fair. Oh well if he gets fined, he gets fined, there's not much else I can do about it. What did you get then? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window
