Well I have no idea why I was so chipper this morning given that OH and I worked out we have £27.80 left for the month for food and fuel:eek:
We have overdraft facilities but given that I am £700 into mine already and we have lost my income I am very reluctant to get into it any further than we have to.
So, a creative month for us plus it's DS1's birthday so time for me to be super creative.
Wish me luck. Just as well I like a challenge!!:rotfl:#118 DFW Debt freely Christmas 2012 Challenge0 -
Bitsy, it's a trailer tent which is quite hefty, especially when you add all the nice things to it, I only do glamping
. During the summer holidays we go off for most of it and we try and get away during most holidays and the odd weekend too.
I'll go and look at Mondeo Estate's, thanks for the tip.
Allie, enjoy your time away.
Jackie, might be fun to have a nest
Have hung the washing on the airers and next lot in. Will do the DW next.

It would be lovely tigerfeet, but I fear my poor dog's heart wouldn't take it, and her grumbling wouldn't be good for any chicks. We had a swallow's next at our old place, and they came back every year for three years, it was lovely to watch them raising their babies

Good Morning All,
Started off a bit overcast here but now the sun is cracking the flags so washing machine on. Have already done a quick tidy round and lamb chops out of the freezer for tea. Not for me as I just don't fancy red meat at the mo, mine will prob be chicken salad.
Very pleased with myself last night as we went for an italian and I managed to avoid the garlic bread and bread basket on the table. Had a small rissotto starter and chicken pesto for main and 2 diet cokes. Everyone else had profiteroles and I didn't bother with a dessert:j:j this is very good for me as I normally cave in when it comes to eating out, but I had already walked for 45 mins yesterday and I am determined to keep going. I will be a size 10 for my sons wedding if it kills me and probably will:rotfl:
Anyway totm so a few aches and pains but managed 20 mins aeorbics on the Wii this morning and had lost 6 lb since the last time so very pleased:D:D:D
Have some admin to do now and then off for a drive with DH this afternoon as he is pricing up a job.
Happy Thursday all J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning All
Actually got off my a£se and went swimming this morning. It was like pensioner soup in there, never realised so many of our elderly community went for a dip first thing! It was lovely, everyone was so friendly. I just like to batter up and down the pool but some of them just wanted a chat!
3rd load of washing on, the weather doesn't seem too bad, could go either way. At least it's not raining like the last 3 days. DW will go on once DD is up and had breakfast, all windows open for a good air (had to shut the back door though as hens keep coming in!). Not much other housework to do today, may go for a wander somewhere. Need to go to Homebase anyway as the cold weather seems to have split some of the connectors on the hosepipe and I need it to get the power washer on the deck.
Tiger - beware with the disco, we had one and had to get rid of it when the children got bigger - the back seat wasn't big enough for them as the wheel arches are sort of inside the car iyswim. Don't know if they have changed. Good to drive but as you say expensive to get fixed.
Hope you all have a good day. Take care. XX0 -

Hi everyone,
It's lovely here again today but a bit breezier than yesterday so it's not quite as warm.
I've got the plumber here today so I'm not getting as much done as I wanted, but at least it's the next step in the never ending saga of the new bathroom. I thought it was an advantage having other bathrooms to use so that we didn't have to ruch but now I just want it finished. The aim was to get it done by the end of last week but I don't know if it will be finished by Easter now.
I was supposed to be going out with DS today on his day off but I haven't been able to get hold of him, I think he must still be in bed. I don't blame him, he averages around 70 hours a week at work so he gets really tired.0
