my DD got 4 bags of 500 gms of pasta in Morrisons yesterday for 36p bargain of the week I think plus they had Crosse & Blackwells pasta sauce mix reduced from 78 to 48 p a packet0

i buy this pasta anyway it usually does us 1 tea for all of us and 2 lunches for the youngest who loves pasta at 9p with a handful of peas and sweetcorn and a squirt of tomatoe puree thats one cheap lunch

It's Tesco Value. I work at Tesco and can confirm that yes, we do value penne for 9p.
What's funny is that we have them in the centre aisle (called the "power aisle") on display, right next to some kind of premium brand of penne, same size pack, for £2.99!0 -
i have 13 bags now and no room for more, glad i don't have to find room for 88

Thanks for the heads up on this - I have a Sainsburys and a Tesco near me - is there any difference in the pasta? i.e. does one taste better than the other? I usually buy the Aldi pasta because it tastes lovely.Jane
