500g bags. I got some yesterday, thought it was a wrong shelf label, but went through!

    it's tesco and asda, tesco put it down because of dtd to match asda we use this pasta anyway so i have 4 bags now :D

    It's the penne pasta - i.e. the quills. I have a few boxes full :D

    Well, obviously, we guessed that that was what the 'p' meant - if it was 9 pounds a bag rather than 9 pennes you would not be recommending it.

    Thanks for your post, it was very useful.

    I looked today, after seeing your post, and in my local Tesco the shelf price was 18p. I grabbed a couple of packets, thinking that was good even at 18p, but they went through at 9p.

    So I'll grab some more tomorrow.
