OS Daily Wednesday 6th April

Up early again, went to Lidl as had to go to bank, then to butcher's to avail of offers....spent €93 odd in all, but some of that was for OH, so not part of my grocery spend, still not too happy about spend so far....its only 6th !!!!!!!

Nice day here, cloudy/sunny but windy so doesn't feel all that warm, will be ideal for 2 loads of washing that need to be done

Coughing and sneezing for Ireland, but going to my swimming class to-night whatever, no DGS2 school run tomorrow so can stay in bed if feeling yuck, his Daddy is collecting him from school, had a brief chat with his sister when I called with stuff this morning, she is 15 weeks and a lovely smiley baby.

Just had a call from an old friend of OH's...they shared an apartment in US about 50 years ago and he is great for keeping in touch....we are dreadful, I feel guilty every time he rings or calls.

Really need to hoover downstairs to-day and get rid of newspapers, don't think I will do anything else except for washing.

Have made myself some sandwiches and am sat down for half an hour. Then I need to put washing on the airers, fill the WM. Empty and fill the DW. Bung dinner in the SC. Not necesarily in that order

I can now open both curtains in the rooooom of doooooom!! :T AND.......... the window is open and the room is airing :j

just stopped for a lunch break. Ironing done. three quarters of the walls now have a second coat of paint but I'm giving up for now because its too nice to stop inside this afternoon.

Managed to get outside in time to catch the scrap man and got him to take a huge pile ofstuff that had been gathering although I must have looked a sight - no make-up and my old paint splattered joggers on:D

Dinner in the SC. Had to change what I was going to do as I didn't realise that the soy sauce I had bought wasn't GF. So we are having chicken caciatore.

DW filled and on. WM emptied and on, will hang it up in a minute.

Sorry Jackie G the sun is cracking the flags down here.

I'm feeling a bit pants today so i've been taking it easy. We'll have salad for dinner but I need to get some tomatoes for it.

I spent quite a bit of time last night sticking recipes I'd cut out of magazine into a scrapbook - I never seem to be able to keep up with it.

Aftrenoon All.
fabulous day here - have been sitting out for a while and had to come in as it was too warm!!
Mind - I am still wearing a jumper, so my own fault really.
We are having loft insulation and cavity wall insulation after Easter - local council sent letter pointing out the level of grant and arranged the survey, etc. Downside is we need to clear the loft...some boxes put up there when we moved here in 1983!!! Anyway, we decided to just bring a bit down each day and today was day2. Second trip to the tip. Very little is being kept at the moment. DH reckons it'll take us about 30days to get through everything!!
DS being discharged from hospital today and will be coming up tonight.
Last afternoon of tutoring for this term!
Oh well, must crack on. Hope you're all enjoying today. Take care.

Afternoon All

We managed to get MIL something for the garden that I think she will like so I can relax until next week when I have to get a little something for DD's BF.

By the time we got back everything was dry and another load had just finished so I have got nearly all the washing and the bedding done today

Going back to the dentist tomorrow cos the antibiotics don't seem to be working I still feel shivery and yurk.

Dinner tonight is gammon steaks and salad ( I will have soup cos chewing is too painful)

Afternoon everyone

Feel little bit sad as it's my last Forest School this morning After Easter they are switching to afternoons and I can't make it due to school pickups Am gutted (felt like crying earlier ).

So was in the woods all morning, picked DD up from mums and had lunch. Hung out washing and done naff all else Feel shattered TBH - I am soooooooo unfit it's true

Gorgeous sunshine here, really is a lovely day (sorry JackieG )

Need to pot on my germinated seeds this week and make H a birthday card for Monday.
