    Morning All!
A Beautiful day here in Hastings, sun is shining and washing is on:T
Seeing my nurse this morning. Legs are pretty bad at the mo, and woke with a blinding headache that had started at 2am:eek: Still it may go.

My garden is coming along nicely. The paving is almost done, it looks so much better already, and I will be able to keep on top of it when the job is finished. Can't wait to get my pots all done now!:T
Cousins funeral went as well as could be expected. His brother read a poem, and how he got to the end I don't know, but it was lovely.

Had OH in hospital last week with a bladder infection. He's feeling very sorry for himself at the mo. Has to have a catheter in for two weeeks which he doesn't like either. Still, hopefully it will be sorted soon.

DGD came yesterday, she is an absolute delight now! Amazing to think in two weeks she will be one year old!

Anyway, have a good day all.

    Morning all!

HH - sounds like you have made a wise decision, one less bit of stress :)

CG - hope that you are feeling better today!

Well the sun is trying to break through here, and I'm not at work till this aft, so I might get to enjoy it for a while! I want to get some rhubarb and plant it out - I caught part of a programme yesterday where all the veg was just interspersed with the normal garden plants, so think I might try that with a few things, rhubarb and tatties being the ones that spring to mind, as they take up lots of room and will fill any gaps! For anyone interested in raised beds, Homebase have them in their 15% sale on Fri and Sat, think they're just under £14, and 2m x 1m, will be buying a couple so my lil seedlings have a home as they grow!

dd1 finished her art gcse, she showed me a pic that she took of it, and it looks really good - not that I'm biased at all lol! The main thing is that she is pleased with it though. ds was distinctly uninspired by his biology trip yesterday, ah well! dd2 is finally realising that being grounded for Easter is not going to be much fun - prob not for me either with her moaning about it, but I do need her to realise that her behaviour has consequences! dd3 was upset last night that someone had taken her new school jumper and refused to give it back, teacher is on the case, and hopefully it will be resolved today, otherwise I shall be phoning and sorting it out! I'm hoping that the child's parents will realise that it's not her jumper and make her return it. School jumpers are bloomin expensive, so dd3 was upset about the cost to me too, bless her!

OS stuff today, kitchen mainly and some washing, though thankfully the bathroom pile was heavily diminished yesterday. Made bread yesterday evening, and need more UHT milk before I can make yoghurt, so two jobs that don't need doing today! Bathrooms could do with a S&S. And will be persuading ds that the lawns can be done today, he is off on a Weds, and they are his job! I am also going to investigate how all the tax changes etc will affect us, should be lots of fun lol!

Dinner will be veg/meat bolognese layered with nachos and topped with cheese and mozzarella - with plenty of ys peppers, kidney beans, sweetcorn added!

Have a good day all xx

didn't get time to post yesterday but got today off:j

lots to do. have already changed the bed, WM on and cleaned, mopped and hoovered through most of the house.
Next on the list is the ironing pile.
Then want to do another quick coat of paint on the hall and stairs walls.

This afternoon I want to get out in the garden and do some mowing plus start to get the flowerbeds tidied up. DH in charge of veggie growing and has got lots of things growing in the greenhouse.:T

DS1 is stopping a couple of days, his partner is away for 2 days plus he wants his Dad to mend his car exhaust.

DS2s GF coming tonight for tea - HM pizza(her fav) followed by angel delight(another fav). She's a lovely girl and they are so sweet together, reminds me of me and DH when we were their age:)

JackieG - hope you get everything done but dont exhaust yourself in the process! x

Hilstep - hope the headache so eases and that your DH is soon better x

    Good morning peeps,
Bright but a little cloudy here but the forecast is good so towels and bedding will be washed and pegged out:)

Going to try my hand at Frickadellen thanks to JulieGeorgiana, but I shall make them with chicken mince today and see how I go. Will have them with millet and salad I think :)

Day at home today, so I should get some decluttering done. We have so much carp:(

Happy Wednesday chaps and chapesses, hugs to those who need or want.

HH your decision sounds very wise.

    Cheers m'dears, Silver x

The weather is gorgeous today, am hoping it will last till the weekend as we need to get the awning of the trailer tent spread out and checked. Water got into it over the winter and we are crossing our fingers that all is well.

    Morning All
Another wet and miserable day here, can't get motivated to do much at all! Ds1 and GF here last night for tea and they forgot my hoover, Grrrr. Not very happy with them at the mo, seem to be on the take all the time. Still, I shall get my own back some time! DDs job seemed to go well, she is in again today and then not until Saturday, not many shifts but at least it's something.

HH, I used to do first aid at school but resigned as parents kept sending children into school with ailments expecting us to look at them. Had a job to keep quiet about it not being a doctor's surgery. They soon got fed up when I just phoned them to collect the children as they weren't well, etc.! For the small amount of extra money we got it wasn't worth the effort. (It turns out that legally first aiders in schools are only there for the staff anyway, not covered for the children!).

No washing to speak of today, just going in the shower and then going to strip out the upstairs bedrooms. May try the gym this afternoon, dislike it a lot but needs must! Take care all. XX
