I will be calling trading standards on the day of the return, so do you guys think that I cam demand a refund because of this reasonable time?

Alas, I fear the Police will shut these scammers down and throw the staff into the dungeons.

Google is your friend, there are loads of video's also showing the issue.

But i guess if someone at apple told you there is no problem then you don't want to know.
Ah, it is on the internet, it must be true.

You should be able to get a refund. If you want an iPad which you abviously do why don't you get it swapped?

Anyway Yes a refund should be fine.
  • Hi Ryanfitton

We have discussed the matter with Apple direct and they have advised that they are unaware of any defect with the iPad 2

However, as they do act as out third party repair agents you will need to log the case with their helpline on 0844 209 0611, and if they do confirm the fault they will then offer a resolution.

Should you need any further help please email me direct on http://comet.custhelp.com/app/ask so that we can assist further.

    Hope this helps

bought one a couple of days ago that has a significant yellow tint to the screen, I"ve booked an appointment at an Apple store today, I'm hoping they replace it if they have stock, if not I'll keep it until they have a better one in stock, Apple are very good at dealing with problems.

the yellow is glue apparently. it's been reported before an apparently it goes once the device has been used a couple of days.

Apple customer services - variable. If you actually get to the genius bar, they are ok. Getting there however...

The glue issue was present on some new iPhone 4's too. It happens because they are shipped to customers direct from the factory literally within a couple of days of manufacture.
