I am the first to admit that I wind up my hubby with things like this;) Whenever he moans about my moneysaving I always find something to throw into the pot. There has been an ongoing moan about the toilet paper I now buy (I only cut back because he uses loads). So, this week, I've bought a roll of the paper stuff you get in public loos. I'm gonna put it in the bathroom without a word :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well the the only moan he ever gives about food is that I'll make him put weight on so he's good really with that. And as for loo paper, he says well it only wipes your bum so it doesn't matter that much!!! :D

Think that public loo paper would be going a little too far for him though!! :rotfl:

I'm not sure where it is.

Just mix up your dumplings in the usual way (use the be-ro website if you need a recipe) sit a blob of jam (or lemon curd or treacle) on the top of each one and then nuke them for one and a half minutes.

Yum lemon dumplings on the be-ro site. Feeling some lemon curd and suet being added to the shopping list :D

  • 'Trail mix'? I have N. American associations. Basically nuts, seeds, small bits of dried fruit, even tiny bits of chocolate stuck in a pot or bag so you can grab a handful as you drive.

Mm, thanks purplemoon, that sounds like a good selection - especially the chocolate bit!
