Travelling - food to keep me going?

I thought I'd keep an update of how I'm doing with my 'food on the go challenge'. Usually the scenario is:
- coffee and pain chocolate breakfast at work
- couple of purchased teas during the day
- purchased lunch
- 10 hour travelling up and down to SWest/London every week buying food on the go
Now I'm back on the OS band waggon, thanks to the inspiration here this week I have achieved the following:
[STRIKE]- coffee and pain chocolate breakfast at work[/STRIKE] make a drink at work, have breakfast before I leave home or take cereal in a tupperware
[STRIKE]- couple of purchased teas during the day[/STRIKE] Nope as I keep thinking 'mental mortgage pig, mental mortgage pig' - and I don't even own one yet!
- purchased lunchstill doing this everyday, but plan to buy food this Sunday in SWest before drive to London
- 10 hour travelling up and down to SWest/London every week buying food on the goWell sort of, out last night and haven't had a chance to go shopping to raided the cupboard (fairly bare) to find:
- cereal (brought in for breakfast at work)
- tub to put in raisins/sunflowerseeds/apricots
- lucozade in fridge (Tesco purchase, cheaper than service station)
- Inoccent baby smoothie (cheaper than the 'fresh' ones I buy at work)
And I'll buy a pastie (yum) from Tescos
Next week I plan to do better, honest! Oh and I have one of those travelling keep em warm mugs with lid so I'll make up a coffee before I leave.
Will let you know how I get on, thanks for inspiration and money saving!Previous debt: £14K :embarasse Debt free: Sept '03MFW#42 Mortgage OP savings £4271.18/£12000 2019

Yippee - I made it back to London with only one purchase - chocolate! Couldn't resist
I made a coffee beforee I left, put it in an insulated travel mug and then half an hour in stuck a straw in a supped on coffee for half an hourStill knackered after the drive, but at least I didn't spend loads of money - hurrah.
