like the others say, tackle a bit at a time. If you clear all the garden you will be too worn out to deal with it all and be back to square one. Have a look on your local market if you have one and buy an odd plant here and there, other than that you can get cheapish seeds online. The supermarkets charge way too much for seeds. Maybe some sunflowers, start them indoors then plant out. The children will love them and you can dry the heads and use the seeds for homemade health bars - sooo much cheaper! Sometimes on freecycle type sites people give away plants, you may be lucky there. Good luck and most of all enjoy yourselfClearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
I will get my caravan0 -
Single Mum - where are you in the country? Some places have freecycle for plants - just join the group. Go to local fetes / school fares / jumble sales etc - as you may find plants for sale. For any extra plants / equipment - why not ask the local agricultural college? Sure they must have things that they will find that they don't need at the end of term.
Perhaps speak to your neighbours and see if they have any spare plants - and look on childrens TV website - like CBeebies, CBBC and CITV to see if there are any gardening programs which are giving away free seeds to children. Look on gardening magazine sites to see if they are giving away any freebies. Best of luck xxMe, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

Get hold of some seeds and modules and sow what you want to grow and eat, you have some time yet before they need to be out, but if you get them going now, it gives you more time.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
