hi leon, i waited over a month since they promised me a refund? the cheque came out of the blue to be honest....and it was for the full 49.50....thye continually ignored my emails aswell......ive got a picture of the cheque that i can email to folks if need be? i hassled alot of people to get the refund..including the guys at power-loans.com which is an ezeloans sister company.,....you should email them and state that:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

I'M CURRENTLY SEEKING INFORMATION ON EZELOANS.NET?

IVE BEEN SCAMMED BY THEM AND SUBSEQUENTLY BEEN LEFT OUT OF POCKET?

THEY HAVE REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY AS WITHIN THE 14 DAY DISTANCE SELLING REGS....THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE A CONSUMER CREDIT LICENCE!

NOW I KNOW FOR CERTAIN THAT MY DETAILS WERE PASSED TO YOUR COMPANY VIA EZELOANS.NET.

AND IM ALSO AWARE THAT POWER-LOANS.COM AND EZELOANS.NET ARE RUN AS ONE COMPANY!

I RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT YOU REMOVE ALL OF MY DETAILS FROM YOUR SYSTEM.

I ALSO AM AWARE THAT DESPITE EZELOANS.NET IGNORING MY EMAILS, THEY ARE STILL TAKING NEW REFERRALS AND FORWARDING THEM TO YOUR COMPANY...

1: I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE A CONTACT NUMBER FOR EZELOANS.NET

2:I WOULD LIKE A FULL EXPLANATION OF YOUR NEW CUSTOMERS SOURCING POLICY.

3: PLEASE VISIT GOOGLE.CO.UK AND TYPE IN EZELOANS.NET--SEE ALL THE COMPLAINTS?
WHY ARE YOU STILL INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY?

4:I'M CURRENTLY TAKING COUNTY COURT ACTION AGAINST EZELOANS.NET AND ANY ADDRESS/CONTACT NUMBERS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I AWAIT YOUR PROMPT REPLY

that rattles them.......they will email back asking for your details and clearly state that you payed ezeloans etc......they are the same company so it will get to the top!!

I'm glad you got a refund.
And that you learned a lesson.

But I suspect it was little to do with your sternly worded email ;)

So AndyM. What do you think it was to do with? Lots of us are trying hard to get money back and any advice would be appreciated. If it's not to do with the e-mail then what is it to do with?

Alright people?
I can vouch for the fact that cheques do eventually arrive. For me the catalyst seemed to be giving up all hope of it ever arriving at all. It is a handwritten Lloyds bank cheque for the full amount that was taken. I shall let you all know if and when it actually clears which should be on Friday. Just keep hassling them. I sent at least one e-mail a day for about a month and had just about given up when it arrives. Ironically by the time the cheque clears I will have been paid so actually won't be so desperate for the money but at least I eventually did get it back. Good luck to you all. Don't give up and keep hassling them. Check the post for a Cardiff postmark.
psandqs.

Hi all.

I, for months have been at this companies heels, I requested a refund with them and was refused. So I filled in a disclaimer with my bank and got the refund.

Ezeloans then sent me a letter saying they were taking civil court action. I flipped.

I dug into this company and learned they have no consumer credit licence and their offices are unused. So I decided to find out who these people were.

My first call was BT who told me who supplied their number. Magrathea, so I called them and got a real company address telephone number and the person listed as the payee on behalf of the company, as the address was in Cardiff I had a Welsh speaking friend ring the local authority for any additional information on the business and write it down.

Now since the OFT have someone to prosecute and I've done the investigation for them I have passed on all the details to them and hopefully these sites will be down very soon and everyone will get a refund.

I seriously hope these people spend a long time in prison!

Hi guys and girls

I was another sillybilly in desperate times and got caught by this ruthless company... at worst I thought I was paying £49 but happy to report after lots of pressing (daily emails from my friends Kate, Rebecca and Chris and a recorded letter) I finally got a refund this week after 3 months of misery - Just want to say don't give in and keep on at them, well now just got to wait for their cheuque to clear...
:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

The cheque arrived secord class in a cheap envelope with tacky compliments slip which just reads Eze Loans in an evelope that the co-op sells is post franked from Cardiff, tho cheque is made out from a recently opened Southend-On-Sea bank a/c

It my believe this company goes under many alias including - powerloans.co, One Stop Loan Shop websites all look very similiar and operate in the same way with no telephone number of course, my advice would be to get your bank card cancelled immediately as the first transaction is unlikely to be your last... I also found I was additionally charged £67.45 by a merchant processing company 2 months later on their behalf too! yep a whoping total of £135.15

Eze Loans deserves to be shut down or at least get a taste of their own medicine as can't explain what losing the above amount of money has meant, the stress and worry bank played a good part in this to admittely as well :( Eze Loans are worse then the most underhand loan shark

Hi

Applied for a payday loan because it was a better option than going overdrawn but was turned down and passed to eze loans. I filled in their application and then had £64!!!!! taken out of my account.

I know, I know, I should have checked T&C better and done some research but didn't.

I emailed them (no tel No.) and they replied with a lecture about terms and conditions. Replied pointing out the bit about A member may terminate or cancel their membership within 14 days.

They emailed me back requesting I cancel in writing to a London address 88 Wood Street. Did that straight away then got another email telling me that I would receive a check within 14 days. Must be 14 working days because it arrived after 17 days.

I have also had £69.95 taken from my account & now my Car insurance missed its payment. I have written to the Financial Ombudsmen complaining about them and also to Watchdog! I have spoken to my bank and after 30 days if they do not return my money then they will get the money back for me. In the meantime I have ordered a new bank card to prevent it happening. I have tried callling them on 08447049707 (rude useless customer service people) which turns out to be a Call Centre in Manchester. They refused to give me a fax number or the email address of a Manager! Another number they give out is 08443188001 which they say is the reception and that some one will call me back! but they never do! The Customer Service man told me the Address at 1, Liverpool St, London is a PO Box well if that is the case why do they not have a proper PO Box number? I am pursuing this until the end and am bringing the company to the attention of the FSA and Financial Ombudsman! Let me know if you want to help - if you do please go to the Watchdog website on BBC and fill out the complaints form to bring it their attention to them. The more peole who do alert Watchdog the more likely they will be to investigfate this very dodgy company!

This may not work. You really need to change your bank account. There are reports on here from people who have cancelled their cards but still had money taken from their bank accounts. Never, ever, give these people your bank or card details.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
