Phoned Tesco last week to ask whether using a pricecheck voucher would affect the dtd value They refused to discuss it and advised the t&C's were being revised.

But they did confirm that if you knowingly buy something that is cheaper in asda, they would refuse to honour the dtd. I take this as meaning you can get dtd on an item once only, buy the same thing the next day and you will not get dtd.
Interesting!! Two things spring to mind.
    1. You only 'knew' it was cheaper yesterday...you haven't checked the price for today...it may have changed.
    2. Now that have had to pay DTD, TESCO also know it's cheaper at ASDA, so if they really are the cheapest, they should bring the price down!!

Can anyone help me with the Co-op voucher? I've just downloaded one, but can't see where it says Tesco will accept it. I noticed a few comments where they've been used.
    Thanks

It doesn't say on the voucher but it's Tesco's policy to accept money off coupons (they call them Spend & Save coupons - Spend £x and get £x off) from other supermarkets.

Hi, I found a new one! 170g Minstrels were £1.89 instore Saturday, £1.50 at ASDA - and they aren't on special offer. I bought 4 more packs today. This was my first voucher, I'm going to get into this now:D

These are routiney £1. Recently that price in both Asda & Morrisons.

I rang customer services to ask if my branch accepted them, CS rang my branch to ask if they do, and they did. :)

    Spreadsheet update

Sorry if someone has already posted but Colgate Max Fresh (green and blue) has now been price matched to Asda - £1.50 so no more DTD.

:( Was planning on buying some more of this today!!

Hmm, seems unchanged on both the Tesco & Asda websites and is on my shopping list for today.

Without employing telepathic mind readers they'll struggle to implement this, I'd suspect the person you spoke to has no idea what they are talking about.
