Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 3

Phoned Tesco last week to ask whether using a pricecheck voucher would affect the dtd value They refused to discuss it and advised the t&C's were being revised.
But they did confirm that if you knowingly buy something that is cheaper in asda, they would refuse to honour the dtd. I take this as meaning you can get dtd on an item once only, buy the same thing the next day and you will not get dtd.
Wow, thats a new one, surely this cannot happen? If i buy the same wine ALL the time in Tesco, but now it just so happens its on DTD does that mean i have to change my shopping habits, just so i don't get royally stung by Mr.T?0 -
Hey guys -
been away for 4/5 days and everything seems to have changed
Seen several comments about T&Cs changing? Is that correct? Not allowed to compare specail offers and not allowed to get DTD and products you have before?
No more lamb????
If someone could bring me up to speed i'd be really grateful!
p.s. OH and I did 3 shops on saturday and got the vouchers through fine on sunday ?0 -
Well I am still waiting for my voucher from Saturdays shop, I phone Tesco & got told due to the large number of people using the site it will now take up to 3 or 4 days before getting either a reply or if you enter the site again !
getting slower if you ask me0 -

i don't see how they could do that, what about little old doris who buys the same butter every week (i do remeber butter being on) why should she only get dtd once? i can't wait til we have an asda here (which is gonna be this time next year) this has really shown me how sneaky and expensive tesco areDEC GC £463.67/£450

Morning,
The latest DOWNLOADABLE SPREADSHEET UPDATE is now available, in post’s two and three top of the thread
As the live spreadsheet is now up and running, please try to keep your time on the download links to a minimum, as if too many people are viewing others get stuck in basic view mode, which makes it hard to view many of the important notes the spreadsheet contains.
It only takes a minute for you to download the spreadsheet to your own computer, which will then enable you to use all the features it contains.
As usual all links to the now outdated spreadsheet will be killed at 12:30
Also before using the links kindly hosted by Scotsgirl, and SylvieDee, let’s not forget our manners and take a second to thank them for the time they have spent updating the spreadsheet, and providing everyone with the means to access it.
A big thanks to all those who check their confirmed receipts against the Live Spreadsheet. Especially those who highlight changes which need to be made with a nice bright SPREADSHEET UPDATE
Doing this really helps us to keep things as up to date as possible :T:T
Happy DTDing everyone0
