I used my first DTD voucher this morning. The SA pointed out that one of the numbers was missing a zero. I just told her that's how it came through - what do they expect you to do? Surely it's their error if the voucher does not match exactly? Anyway she put it through, then I carried on with my next 2 seperate lots of shopping! Don't know whether she twigged or not. On the way out I saw a nice chimenea for £30 so may use on of the 3 vouchers I should generate today to go towards itSealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0

I just thought how ironic it would be if I had to spend my saved Tesco money on a speeding ticket! I was happy with the speed I was doing, I am middle aged with 25 years driving experience and as someone said probably safer doing 35 in a 30 than an 17 year old or 75 year old doing 30 in the same area of A road that was going back to 40mph. However if I get a ticket I only have myself to blame - I will just have to remind myself how nice the lamb tasted
And don't get me started on pedestrians who don't look before they cross the road, that is a whole other debate.
Anyway as many have said, let this be the end of the speeding discussion (sorry for bringing it up again but it was my post that started it), if anyone wants to discuss it further with me then please pm me or direct me to the appropriate thread.
Back to Tesco - if anyone is close to Gillingham in Kent, they have had lamb on the two times I have been in there, both early evening and the staff have been lovely finding things for me in the large unfamiliar store and the checkout staff appear to have been trained on the vouchers and don't give you a 'look' like they do in another store I have been in.
Wooo hoooo my local store, I shall tonight and look for lamb!! Where abouts do I find it?
Thank you0 -
Which hospital?
Men in White coats there admitted with DTD Fever ha ha haMorning everyone!!!
Well what a night, I had dreams of emptying all Tesco's within a 30 mile radius of me of their lamb :eek: I then made lot's of stew's, hotpot's etc and put in freezer for OH and children when I am in hospital.
Then I went and cleared the shelves of Finish so that I knew all the dishes would be done :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sheesh........
Got my vouchers this am from Wednesdays shop and my Finish was confirmed:D:D:D:D:D

So are you all buying 1 or 2 packets at a time or topping up 1 lot with salmon or something else?0 -
Advice needed please..... which is the best whisky to buy my dad he knows his whisky but i dont so do i get Glenmorangie or ISLE OF JURA for his birthday.
I think its a personal taste thing. I prefer Jura, as does my (Scottish) OH and FIL, but various other friends really like Glenmorangie. They're both decent quality single malts, so I'm sure he will appreciate either.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Sorry, while going for a drive along the coast on the weekend, I had a sudden craving for pancakes
It must have slipped my mind that I already had a lifetime supply at home0 -
Ooops! Must get better at reading t & c's!!! One voucher per household per day from now on then.A calender month can mean the 15th May to the 15th June though.
I dont agree, I would say a calendar month is one of the 12 sections of the calendar year. But I expect Tesco will have their very own definition anyway.0 -

Thank you
It's in the chilled section. There's normally only 5/6 packs. Tesco Finest New Zealand rack of lamb is what you're looking for. In a black plastic pack. Good luck!0 -
