I don't know about everyone else, but the novelty is definately wearing off for me. I'm still DTD'ing but only trying to compare things that I actually need rather than random things I don't. It does take up an awful lot of time. I think I will just do one DTD a week and then use the voucher towards my normal shop, which should be slightly smaller due to items already stocked up on, so I still think I will be saving. TBH I've seen several posts where people have said "I've spent so much money, not sure I'm doing it right" The thing is you do have to speculate to accumulate in this offer - I know I've certainly spent more money than I would have done normally. On balance, I do think it's a good deal but you have to be very serious to want to do it all day every day, but if you do pick up a few DTD's here and there and get only £20 voucher per week - towards a weekly shop, that's a big help.
Same here. It does take up a lot of time, I was determined to get some of the elusive lamb yesterday and ended up going to 5 stores before I found it, nearly let out a little whoop of joy when I spotted it
I'm mainly using the vouchers to stock up on wine, I'm leaving the Betty Crockers on the shelf now... only so many pancakes you can eat! lol0 -
I'd have been inclined to tell him what to do regarding the receipt just for my own piece of mind. I've had to tell 2 SA to sign them despite the team leader not requesting them to do anything with the receipt other than give it back to me.
I've no intention of re printing DTD voucher so no reason to not want them to sign the receipt, keep the deal going for as long as poss knowing I've played as 'fairly' as I can.
I just staple the receit to the DTD voulchers and give it to the SA- this way I will not duplicate / mix it up/ lose it and generally the SA / supervisor happy with this arrangement..."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"
