Ive been lurking on this forum for the past week and a half, and Id like to say a big thank you for everybody who helped comple the spreadsheet. Ive found that the most import thing is to plan your purchases prior to shopping and have a few substitute items on standby in case the SEL is less than expected, or the store does not stock that particular line.
Only experienced one problem when purchasing last Saturday, picked a young weekend assistant, who didnt know what to do so called over her supervisior, after lots of umming and ahhing and taking my receipt over to customer services she informed me that the offer didnt start till the 4th April, as I had 2 Betty C pancake mixes and a collgate toothbrush in my shopping I didnt argue and just paid cash.
The strange thing was that I had off loaded two vouchers (A £6 and £4) an hour earlier in that store and nethier sales assistant had any issues processing it.
In general ive noticed that this week all of the sales assistants seemed more clued up about the scheme and most of them are genuinely interested but dont actually know what dtd is. I for one admitt that if I hadnt read about it in the news I wouldnt be any the wiser, which makes me think Tesco arent promoting it that hard.
Once again thanks everybody for your work.0 -

So he keeps pointing out we are not getting £20 free food, it is £20 free food minus the cost of 40 miles round trip to each Tescos!! Spoilsport:(
I know it's a waste of clubcard points and not very MSE, but I had £30 worth of clubcard points through yesterday and used them for petrol. Their were no deals I wanted and because of all the DTD's it made sense to me. Why pay cash for petrol when I could use those, might be worth a thought if you have any..as we have all probably been using more petrol.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Whereas I live in Tesco world... if I put my postcode into the store locator there are THIRTY stores within 15 miles of us. That includes Express stores but even so, I think it's crazy! And yet it's a 24 mile round trip to the nearest Asda, lol!If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -

 Nice to meet you! I bet the girl at the checkout thought we were nuts, random strangers discussing "the right tissues" and my name!0 -
