Hi I'm a newbie keeping up as best i can hoping that someone can share some wisdom.I've used a few (3) vouchers for under £20 now and each time the assistant has kept my old receipt/ on line delivery note and put it in the drawer with the coupon is this right ? i have no intention of re using one btw just curious as some seem to be saying their receipts are just getting signed ?

They are supposed to sign it and return the receipt to you. On odd occassions they have just kept my receipt and tbh as I paid by cash (or to be fair, pennies and a dtd voucher lol) and didn't use my clubcard I had no probs and preferred a clean getaway without any hassle rather than ask for it back. If you want it back then ask them to sign it and return it to you.

    It's only a game

I find myself looking at other people's food on the conveyor. Saw a woman yesterday with Princes Salmon, Amore yogurts, and a big bag of Tesco dog food... I was thinking "that should be Iams" :rotfl:

Course it may have been her normal shop but naaa no-one does those anymore. ;)
  • Does anyone else here dream in DTD, I wake in the night with the thoughts, buy for £4.98 then DTD should be, if then get 3 of them plus 2 at £1.98 minus 1 at £2.67, plus a voucher, Have I bought the right one? How is the SA behaving? Which Tesco next? The maths is screwing with my brain. I need this to end so I can sleep again:rotfl:

I have been waking each night thinking about DTD. I had done an online order for delivery today and I woke up at about 5am this morning (an hour after the order could be changed) dreaming that I had got my calculations wrong and had overspent and that it was too late to change it! I eventually went back to sleep and in the cold light of day I re-calcalculated and felt confident that I hadn't messed it up!

I suspect a fellow MSE shopper near by :)

Perhaps we should have little badges made with a special secret logo, then when we shop we would know who "Is a friend of Martins"
