Its probably a saving grace as If I was in your situation I would be in tesco every day whereas I can only go once or twice a week and I would get nothing done!:D
Even though I am itching to go every day, and come up with far fetched reasons I need to head in their direction, and when my OH comes up with ideas of things to do with the kids my brain is ticking away....where is the nearest Tesco????

Strangely if I click "see more results" it comes up with 64 "local" stores of which 48 are within 15 miles
We only live in a small town in the Midlands, it's like Tesco have taken over!
We have 2 on our doorstep and haven't even set foot in one of them as we've had all sorts of arguements with them in the past over this sort of thing. I've actually only visited 4 stores over the course of this "promo", 3 of which were one off visits when we happened to be passing. We're lucky, our closest store is fantastic, great staff and great stock levels :D
If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside! :)

My Mum went shopping tonight and had her £66 voucher refused!!!

She was told Tesco no longer accepted vouchers over £20 and so the SA tried to take it from her to throw it away!!

She's not one for arguing but told the SA what she could do, in the nicest way possible without losing her temper and walked out with her voucher and left her shopping there.

This is the Harwick store Kings Lynn, they are a stickler for rules making things up as they go along. So she said she will have to try another store tomorrow when she have calmed down!!!

My BF went in the same store last night, He has been doing his and his mums shopping. he had a couple of £10 vouchers to use and the SA would only let him use one voucher per visit, :( so he used one and paid cash for his tins of salmon!

:(There's a right load of jobsworths in that store!!:(

PLEASE get her to phone CS 0800 505555 they will advise the store that she can use that voucher! Especially if it was printed before March 20th when they brought in the £20 rule.

Bloody cheek of that SA trying to STEAL your Mum's voucher! Definitely complain. And emphasise how much embarrassment your Mum suffered.

    Hope it goes ok!!!
  • Any one else still waiting on vouchers from last night? No dtd shopping for me tonight :(

I might be wrong but I think these were the ones that T's have had at half price, but are going back up to full price tomorrow. Will be trying them tomorrow and will report back.

You're right. I just happened to be down that aisle and saw the SEL at full price so decided I'd try them - now I have the half price version that I paid cash for!

    Shall attempt again tomorrow :D

He is right, our Tesco is miles away too, spent a £67 one today on bargains, but it isnt worth it for £20, the true difference is £10! (remember you could have bought it £10 cheaper at Asda!) Plus all the worry about whether the price will come back as NF etc.

Today was the first time I had used my voucher in Tescos, I was anxious that they would make a fuss, but it all went well.
At least I am recycling my vouchers so my initial outlay was a few shops back (recycling as in buying dtd food and using my voucher to pay etc etc......not reprinting! before someone jumps on me:o) and so the food is kind of free!:) Unlike the petrol!
