This thread moves far too quickly.

Anyway, I sent DH to Tesco to investigate to no avail as they don't have stock, but...

With the lamb racks they matched Finest to Extra special. I was having a look through MySupermarket at chicken as the lamb barely touches the sides!

Tesco Finest Corn Fed Whole Chicken (Free Range) £4.38 per kg
Asda Extra Special Corn Fed Whole Chicken (Free range) £3.38 per kg
    Difference of £1 per kg
    DTD £2 per kg
    Net cost £2.38 per kg
This is just 9p per kg more expensive than 'Market Value' Chicken.

I am not sure this would work but I would try it out if they had stock. Don't know if anybody wants to brave it.

    Also had an issue tonight...

supervisor called, but that is the the norm. Usual lady who has seen me there before states that T+C's have changed and that it is now only one receipt you can claim per month and therefore if I'm here again they will refuse custom. I explained the whole 5 receipts thing but she said they were going off the different terms and conditions they had. I offered to bring them in next time but she said it wouldn't make a difference. It was quite clear there are no new t+c's she was trying to blag me and has not put me off in the slightest. Email sent as she was really quite rude. Stand your ground!

Why do staff behave like this, often its not even the manager who has told them to. I can think of at least two occasions over R&R and instore DTD where a mangager has been called and then the manager has sided with me and made the member of staff apologise.
Honestly either they get the money stopped from their pay or they get a power trip from being as awkward as possible - hmm I wonder which?

Just made the biggest mistake ever. First forgot my shopping list so had to try to remember what to get and then when I got home I realised I forgot to get my new receipt.

How mad am I? I could kick myself.

Can anyone tell me where the lamb is please. I can never find it, is it in the freezers or fresh meat. If fresh meat is it with the lamb or the finest foods. Thanks as hubby really wants some lamb and I never buy him any, would be nice to treat him.
