According to Mr T's T&C for the offer, a household cannot claim more than £100 in a 'calendar month'. Most of us assumed this ment, you can claim for up to £100 in March, and then you can use the same email address to claim up to another £100 in April. Now, it appears, this is not correct. If you claimed £60, for example, in the last week of March, and claimed another £60 in the first week of April, you would have exeeded your limit, as you claimed more than £100 in the last calendar month, starting from today and going one month back.
I cannot be sure as the rule is not clear. I base this conclusion on the email I received from mr T, refusing to issue a voucher, when I have not exceeded the limit for April.

It is, I agree, very unclear. Several people have rang Customer Services and have been told that it is per calendar month. ie Mar. Apr. etc but I have my suspicions it isn't.

  • So for the very first shop you did that started on the e-mail address, was this a cash shop or a voucher redeemed shop (e.g. did a recycled voucher start the process)?
Sounds like 3 vouchers for £10 asda difference is the way to go if using recycled vouchers with new email? That way we can account for the first and fifth?
I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

That is rubbish.... the vouchers cannot be linked at all.

I don't think it is. I commented on this many threads back. It is plausible. The truth is none of us know anything for sure, and the more info. we get the more accurate our judgement can be.

  • Spot on - can't substantiate without any figures from the people who have had the overlimit e-mail, but the logic works especially bearing in mind the fix that they will have applied is a retrospective one. The rest of the code in the software will be based on the ASDA saving and not the capped voucher figure and probably a fudged solution has been put in place! T

hey have the running total from the inception of the first pricecheck you send on the new e-mail address for which the clock has already started as the coupon will show on the software IMO.

simon31leeds, thanks for the detailed explanation. Cam I quickly recap: 1. You believe that the last voucher from the 1st email address counts towards your total on the 2nd email address. 2. The running total at Asda should never exceed £50.

    Is thay right?
