Ok, third post in a row and now it's my turn to ask a question. I will not lie, although I do enjoy comping I am doing this to try and get some presents/items for the home and to sell a few things (comping fits in nicely with being a househusband/full time dad).

With this in mind I have not been entereing many of the holiday comps. I am I right in thinking that if within T&Cs of the comp(s) they do not say something to effect of the prize is non-transferrable I should be able to sell them on?

As I am new to this I thought I would check.

Thanks in advance. any help is appreciated even if just to confirm what I have written.

ITEM 8: PRIZE DETAILS
A single prize consisting of the following will be awarded to the prizewinner subject to the prizewinner complying with all the terms and conditions applicable to the Competition:
• Ground hotel transfers in Orlando
• 5 night accommodation onsite at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort
• Universal ExpressSM passes to both theme parks for entirety of stay
• $200 per family towards food & beverage
• Return flights to Orlando – 2 adults, 2 children
• Travel insurance – 2 adults, 2 children
Full details including timings will be confirmed with the winner directly. Please note the dates and time of the event are subject to change. Winners will be notified directly should this be the case.

Please note that where prizes are provided by third parties, the prize may be subject to the terms and conditions of that third party. In this case: Universal

Prize Description: Prize consists of one (1) round-trip trip for four (4) persons to Orlando, Florida, USA as follows:
Dates of travel excluded:
2011: February 18 – 21, April 1 – May 1, May 27 – 30, July 1 – 4, September 2 – 5, October 14 – 31, November 24 – 27, and December 16 – January 1, 2012.
2012: February 17 – 20, April 1 – 15, May 25 – 28, July 1 – 4, September 1 – 4, October 19 – 31, November 22 – 25, December 21 – January 1, 2013
Flights:
Flights for two adults and two children from the [winner’s nearest major airport] to Orlando, Florida USA. The children must be under 16 years of age.
Winner and guests must travel at the same time and must depart from the same city.
Winner is responsible for ensuring that all those travelling have valid passports and applicable Visas, and for online registration for the US Immigration ESTA programme: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/
Accommodation:
Hotel accommodations, room and tax only, for up to four (4) people in a maximum of one (1) room at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort for five (5) consecutive nights.
At least one of the adults must be at least 21 years old.
Hotel accommodations do not include, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip.
A credit card or cash deposit for incidentals may be requested by the hotel at check in.
Theme Park: Prize includes four (4) complimentary 5-Day/2-Park admission to Universal Studios Florida® and Universal’s Islands of Adventure®
Other inclusions: The prize package also includes:
Up to US$200.00 towards food and beverage (per group of four)
Non-exclusive ground transfers to/from the airport and hotel in Orlando, Florida
Exclusions: Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the prize package is excluded. In particular (but without limitation), the prize does not include: expenses including meals, transfer costs other than those stated, ancillary costs and spending monies.
Other conditions:
All elements of the prize are subject to availability with no cash alternative and the prize package is non-transferable and non-refundable. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part).
Winner travel arrangements must be made a minimum of 60 days prior to winner travel and are subject to availability, and must be taken within 12 months of notification.
If winner is unable to fulfil prize during time period, winner forfeits the prize package with no compensation or further liability of the promoter. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

If it includes airline tickets they may be hard to sell on as photo ID is needed that must match the name on the tickets.Changing names may be costly.

Just to let you all know. I have spent the day sorting out the reg board and everything that needs to be moved has now been moved. I have also created a new once only sticky thread on there https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3160362

These are comps that are normally newsletter sign ups so you never have to look at again. Hope you like it and find it useful
