Hi all. Managed to escape work at 12 instead of 2 today which was nice. My new FridgeFreezer is being delivered this afternoon so it gave us a chance to get the old one out and clean behind it.....OMG, what a state that was!

No wins so far today but the postie did bring the pension forms for me to fill in and send back, now, what the heck did I do with my Birth Certificate?

Had a text from my Daughter last night. They have hit storms in the Atlantic so lunch yesterday was boiled rice and tonic water to try and settle their stomachs, apparently most people are feeling very rough. The Captain now has to make the decision whether to go through it or try and stay behind it which will make them very late back. Such fun

Just here for a vent, am new to comping but have managed to contribute with the Twitter comps last 3-4 days. Am so chuffed to be able to give something back.

However someone has quit posting other comps today because of the sarky comments and I can fully understand why. It's hard finding comps not posted by the brilliant regulars but when your shot down by people that never post anything it's soul destroying.

Well done on finding comps to post! Think I have only found about 6 to post in about 20 months so you are doing well. Saw someone was pleased with you on IWIW anyway. Don't let sarky peeps put you off. x

I have had a good day had lunch out at a Wimpy as bus got in too late for me to meet my friends at a restaurant I normally go to.

Came home and read newspapers,saw my friends,Out to karioke in a minute for the evening.

Maitenence is down on MSE from 11pm as they are doing some software work,it should be back on at 11.30pm tonight though

Afternoon everyone.

Won a National Trust Pass today which I am really happy with. It was from a comp posted by Russiandoll.

OH gone to a Rugby match so I am going to try and do some comping. Glad to get him out of the house as he was very glum about Englands performance in the Rugby World Cup even though they won.

Me three! Mr M has just finished a week of night shifts (and his 12th day at work in a row) so he came in at 7.30am this morning, had a few hours sleep and he's gone to the pub for a boozy afternoon as he's off tomorrow :rotfl::rotfl: House to myself and I'll barely see him for a week as I'm working 7.30 - 3 every day and he's working 3 - 11, just the way I like it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: means I can comp in peace & watch whatever I like on telly xx

Hope all is well,I am fine,had a nice morning,went to help on a stall and won a raffle Got a lovely clock which is lovely and plays music when a drawer is opened.

Having a quiet afternoon and waiting for my sister to arrive to see me as she has arrived at my parents for my birthday on Tuesday.
