pms, that's a lot when you have to buy logo'd socks too! I think the schools think parents are made of money these days! Ours are strict with shoes, clothes and haircuts but as long as the socks are black then its fine. I could imagine me losing loads of socks in the wash!

I hate it but what choice do I have? Socks £8 for 3 pairs, Jumper's are £20 each, PE tops £8 each, can't remember how much PE shorts & tracksuit are offhand (need to have indoor PE kit which is shorts & top then an outdoor PE kit which is top & full tracksuit - all logo'd!!), luckily trousers & shirts don't have to be logo'd! I guess I should be lucky I'm not sending a boy there cos they need to have either full football kit logo'd or rugby kit! The school is split into different bases, each base as a colour. In local charity shop they have some jumpers at 50p each but not in the colour she needs!!!

Bloody el!! I have a son at big (primary) school and my little baby starts big (primary) school in september
so I went out and bought all their uniform yesterday, only a couple of things, luckily, need to be logoed but I was a a tad upset that it still all cost me £75!!! I feel for you, that is a silly silly amount for parents to have to spend, and its not a one time spend either! its year after blinkin year! :mad:

Hello compers,

I posted here a few days ago asking for facebook votes for my girl and rightly got directed to the correct place for posting such requests.

Just wanted to thank anyone who did vote as we got back from V festival to find my daughter had managed to get to third place and has won £50 Jack Wills voucher. As I am sure you can all imagine, she is over the moon about it - although Jack Wills prices mean she will have to wait for a sale to get anything decent!!!

I've gone through kids uniforms and realised I'm still short on a few things. Thought I had it all in DD wont have a coat as they have to have schools own but she hates it! I can imagine havin to run out when the winter comes to buy her one! Our jumpers are £14, cardi's £16 and t-shirts £9.50. They also have to have logo PE top but any palin black shorts. Thankfully we dont have to buy socks or I would be drawing my own logo on them!

Been playing dvd bingo with the kids again! They love it and DS is very lucky. Can't wait till his 18 so I can take him to proper bingo!

Morning all,

It is tipping it down here - had thunder and lightning too. Had to drive kids to school which was a shock to the system having to get organiised as early! Nice and peaceful now anyway. DH has had another WEM from Anchor so thats 5 between us. Hope we get a variety.
