i think this has been mentioned on MSE before but...

i wanted to post something about facebook competitions and the use of the "other" tab in your messages within facebook. This is where most of the companies send you emails to - you dont get a email to your regular email addresss when this happens!

i checked my facebook mail yesterday and found the "other" tab, in which i found i had won 2 prizes - didnt claim for one so they re-drew the competiton ( a bit gutted but ive learnt my leasson)...


i wonder how many people dont know about the "other" tab... and therefore how many people have missed prizes...

any ideas where to post this ? or is this the correct place?

Wow I had 17 messages in other, none prizes thou

Hadn't even seen it so thanks for posting about it and will keep eyes on it as I've started to enter more and more on fb

Princessmoneysaver mentioned this the other day baudsley too, I hadnt realised neither! Although I am only just starting to enter lots more on fb so didnt expect any hidden wins!

Just checked my "other" folder in facebook - no wins (Well, I rarely enter any comps on fb, so I didn't expect there to be!) but I still had 10 messages going back to last year, whoops!

Just had to come in and say - Gees there seem to be a ton of end of month comps this month!!!!!

Thank you for the facebook tip, no hiding wins for me though unfortunately.

Hi i try to find holiday comps to post here however i have a problem with this one:

They just ask for email address in the bottom left. The problem is a cannot find any t&c`s or end date, i cannot find it posted here before either. If i were to post this how would i do it.

I had no idea about the "other" tab and on looking just now had 55 messages in there. None were winners.
