    Hi FTM

Your comment about fruit cake made me laugh, a lot! However, tell me please, what is a weetabix cake, sounds intriguing!

I would also like to know the 90 items you've got coming (on your anniversary!) tomorrow?!

Congrats to your DH for getting a job, and even bigger congrats to you both for your 25 year anniversary tomorrow - I hope you have a lovely day! X

It cost rather a lot-£165 I think- but it was a present. We covered Italian breads-foccacia, plaited tuscan loaf, breadsticks and a sicilian loaf with semolina flour. They do do other courses but it will be a while before I can afford one unless I win the lottery.

    Cor...whew...cor blimey....

Glad 'twas useful...though I do have to admit that when I went on an artisan breadmaking course locally that 'twas a 4 hour one and seem to recall 'twas £25 for that and that included the produce we took away at the end and a bit of her homemade cake during it. So - I thought 'twas a bargain at the price and felt a bit guilty at paying her what she had asked..as I would have been prepared to pay a bit more than that....

Well, I had my oldsyle & very frugal handfasting on Saturday, I made my dress, the bunting, the favour boxes & all the food, the sun shone during the important bits & everyone had a good time. We spent under £500, the registry office fees were £107, we spent £300 on food & booze (we could have done it for less but decided not to) everything else came to well under £100. A wonderful day without breaking the bank.

    Many Congratulations:j

    Ceridwen - like these?

You could use the seeds and/or grow your own future supply!

Congratulations on your handfasting HH :T
    Happy Birthday BB! :bdaycake:
    and last but not least

Congratulations on your anniversary, ftm - 25 years, eh? I've got my 25th coming up in August (if I haven't killed him before then ;)) - all the best people obviously got married in 1986...

Away from all this general frivolity, I would just like to announce that I picked 4 - count 'em - 4 french beans today :rotfl:

No, I don't know what I'm going to do with them either, but if you don't pick french beans they don't produce, and these were the first - all the rest are still tiny. Just thought I'd strut for a moment :D

    Hester...we need pics!!!!

Many congrats to BB and FTM and anyone else I may have forgotten.

so, we find the perfect cottage for us - and some git goes and puts a full asing price offer in. We are prepared to go over asking but not by much. One thing it has done has given the OH a mahoosive kick to get moving.
