TRYING to sell property in Bulgaria

There was an extremely long thread on here about a group of would be purchasers who kept paying money to secure their newbuilds in Bulgaria and seemed to be getting ripped off by everybody and still hadn't got their apartments/villas.
It's probably put a lot of people off buying anything in Bulgaria, even though it had nothing to do with your sale.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

I have no opinion whether the OP should have bought in Bulgaria several years ago, except a woman at work keeps offering weeks in hers in raffle prizes, and the winners never want to collect the prize.Been away for a while.0 -
Hi Michymo,
This is a good website to look at if you are trying to sell your property. mybulgaria.info
Most Bg agent website sites will advertise your property, and if they find you a buyer, then the fee is usually about 500euros.0 -

Hi Michymo
My guess is that the problem is the amount of the hit you'll need to take on price. I'm guessing here, but probably 70%-80% off the price you paid. Most owners will probably say they won't sell at that price, and so there's no market. Similarly, agents want an up-front fee, because they know they have no chance of selling at the price the owners want.
Ebay may be your best bet, as others have said. Your downside is just the listing fee, and you can gauge from the bids you receive what people will pay and whether you are interested in selling at that price. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Word of advice though, don't get drunk on their ridiculously strong spirits and think and it's a good idea to try and ski naked. It doesn't end well."I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0 -
If are planning to sell your property then it is better to take the help of real estate agents. They will guide the buyers registered with them towards you.You can make use of the internet and find experienced real estate agents.0
