KH has agreed to swap a weekend with me..

then he remembered he had to ask about the following weekend when he is doing the Edinburgh marathon or some such crap.. but... I also gave him holiday dates and said if he wants any extras days to let me know... *giggle*

One for the non-fb-ers ... I forgot there are some of those :p

Had an email re the file handover scheduled for 17th April (for those not up to date on the saga, I'm handing over one third of one lot of voluntary paperwork I do).

ooh, something occurred to me. How familiar are they with the paperwork? Because maybe you need to set some rules on when and for how long you are available to them to give advice on what you were doing as well as confirming methods of contact. But I'm sure you'll give them a Wolfie stare on the day and bring them back to reality PDQ;)

Right, I'm off to see the programme on Filthy Cities which is recording in the living room. Shame they didn't think of giving out scratch and sniff cards:rotfl:

Awwwww, are you sure that little angel child kept you up last night Pigpen?

Just downloading my new relaxation tape the GP recommended I buy - it has a warning on it not to drive/operate heavy machinery or have a bath whilst listening to it so hopefully I'll soon be pushing out the zzzzzzzs!

They did - in the Radio Times. DH works in sewage (not literally!) & says the sewage scratch 'n' sniff is quite authentic!

    cheers m'dears!

Might your dad just have bunged up ears and need them syringing? A few drops of oil (olive or veg not engine!) before bed a couple of nights migh help loosen any gunk. Or he might try candling.. it is very effective by all accounts.

Thanks I will put him on my to do list.

What a lovely baby you have.

I have had to go back to parent's house. My Mum got stuck in the kitchen and was crying when I arrived. My Dad was upstairs. I had to clean kitchen and rearrange it so she has room to move around. My Dad seems to not to realise that she needs room to walk with a frame. I thought it was stressful with her being in a home. :undecided

Well I did the bathroom and S&S the kitchen and then hoover and threw the girls junk out of the loung so house looks respectable again. Thankfully I had dusted and dustbunnied the lounge yesterday. Also managed HHE by taking woof for a trot so 2 jobs in one there!

Not sure what I will get done tomorrow as topic book walk around at school in the afternoon so may get an hour at home after work before heading out there again.

Pigpen - you little one is adorable! I remember when my two were like that - they were the easy days looking back now lol! Not sure how you cope with the range of ages you have with your brood!

LW have you thought about doing an in depth written step by step idiot guide for the new person and then you wouldnt have to go? you could give them your email addy so they could come back with any queries - the DM sounds a right dipstick but should be able to deal with the handover without you! Just a thought!
Kazw my condolences for DH's loss - very sad when its the last link - as you say there is not a lot you physically can do but just being with him is the most important thing - showing him your love and support will see him through - ((( hugs))) to you both xx

Are you sure? It's not a problem ;):p:D NO thank you!!!!!!!

Stop reading the newspapers and use them instead to chase the BD away. I don't often read the papers as there is very little good news in them as good news does not sell as well as bad IMO. I totally agree - I just read the good bits online!!!

PA duties commenced for the day :D:A:A:A:A:A
