Hmm not flying much so far - have been into work with kids (they played on computers while I got on with 'stuff') Came home via a park where kids made kites and played on adventure playground and extremely narrowly missed a parking fine - park is near a hospital so all roads nearby are for residents only with no allowances for park users
Is now threatening more rain after it rained all day yesterday so kids are on wii while I declutter a brew then get started on the lists before dh gets homeMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Visited Mum and decluttered top of her chest of drawers so she can use for her tablets, drink etc. Put 1xwm on for her left Dad to put in td. Fetched bread and babysat Mum while Dad popped out. I think she needs someone with her all the time. Dad seems to have lost his hearing which has left me worried. I can't always be there as my kids have additional needs etc.
At home I have done dailies including 3x wm and took down old shower curtain ready for decorating.:(_pale_

Might your dad just have bunged up ears and need them syringing? A few drops of oil (olive or veg not engine!) before bed a couple of nights migh help loosen any gunk. Or he might try candling.. it is very effective by all accounts.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

kids lifted from school and ds took to his eye appointment and the result is no more patching, he's chuffed as am i.
DD complaining of feeling sick, ds complaining of a sore head but i do believe they are bluffing but we'll see.

Had an email re the file handover scheduled for 17th April (for those not up to date on the saga, I'm handing over one third of one lot of voluntary paperwork I do).
Person taking over doesn't like my choice of pub, as she can't take her child (it's an Ember Inn, and they don't allow children). NB I hadn't known before that she even had a child, let alone want to bring him/her along.
Ok, I came up with an alternate, which does allow children, and is still wheelchair accessible.
District Manager says something about possibly meeting at her place.... except no wheelchair access, and an upstairs loo (um.... NOOOOO).
DM then suggests another, 3rd pub, that has no disabled access, and no disabled loo.... um no, sorry, I can't climb the steps outside, even if I'm prepared to cross my legs for the duration of the visit. (Which I'd prefer not to have to).
DM says "Oh well, we have til 17th, we'll put our thinking caps on"
Me.... puzzled, as to why DM doesn't want to go to 2nd choice of pub, (suspect she doesn't want to travel out to it, but wheelchair-friendly pubs aren't that easy to find) so I said I need it decided one way or another asap, as I'll need to make sure I can get my chair in if it's somewhere I'm not familiar with.
DM then says 2nd pub will be Ok after all
Person taking over work then says she's not bringing child.
So why the heck did she make a fuss about wanting to go to a child-friendly pub in the first place?????? AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!
Anyways.... we've left it at the 2nd pub.... I know I can get the chair in, person taking over can bring child or not, as she chooses, and I still don't really know why DM was looking for another alternate venue.
Honestly, if you submitted it as a plot for a farce, it'd be rejected as too far-fetched!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
