  • There is a product called Foamclene, which is the dogs for cleaning keyboards, mice, monitors, etc.

You can buy it from a few office supply places it seems. You spray it on, then wipe it off with kitchen roll or a cotton bud. It evaporates, and it's anti-static.

I lever all my keypads off with a spoon and put them in a pillowcase tied at the top and bung them in the washer.

I chuck the key tops into one of the little mesh bags that you get for 'tablet' type washing powder and into the dishwasher.....

  • I use "Blue Tack" just turn the pc off and get a blob of it and roll it around the keyboard, to pick up crumbs etc, Then get a baby wipe to clean the surface dirt.

(The tip was on the back of a blue tack pkt, so I can't take the credit for it)

I usually take my husbands phone apart (he's a plasterer and it gets covered in dust!) and wipe it over with just a damp cloth and it comes up clean enough.

Havent tried this myself but someone told him to use T Cut on his screen to smarten it up - like I say, I cant vouch for this as I havent tried it myself.
  • what the most basic spray bottle cleaner (for convenience) you can buy? i see a clear 'anti-bacterial' spray at supermarkets, is that any good? what would you use it for? being see through kind of makes me think its not very good at cleaning lol
  • Baby wipes are really good for keyboard cleaning

A microfibre cloth and a small amount of tap water will clean the computer's case and glass screen very well. Sometimes I vacuum with the brush attachment to get dust out the keyboard and air vents. I've never needed chemicals to clean the computer. You only need to buy the cloth once and it will last pretty much forever.
